I'm happy she's at this home, it's a nice home, pleasant to look at and even the gardens are lovely. It's decorated for different occasions (i.e. National colours of Greece with flags for Greek night). The staff seem to enjoy their work and are friendly to residents and visitors. I really wish my mum
could have gone to this home.

My Father has recently moved into Weald Hall, under challenging circumstances. The continual support of the home manager has been greatly appreciated. The quality of this care home goes beyond the outstanding well-considered fresh and clean facilities to the genuine welcoming, warm and loving atmosphere.
The home’s vision and ethos are truly lived-out. Staff are highly responsive to the needs of residents and their families.


Health Care Plans are kept up-to-date and advice is sought from healthcare specialists. The uniqueness of each individual is celebrated and there is a strong sense of community. A wide range of opportunities are arranged to enable residents to continue their interests, socialise and feel valued.


Having experienced another home and visited many, it is without hesitation that I would recommend Weald Hall.

We have recently moved mum here, the best care home I have seen for miles and I must say we visited a lot! The care and attention they have given to mum already is amazing. Mum is an avid football fan and she has already been taken out to watch a game. I cannot give this place more praise I just wish
I could give it a higher star rating, thank you to everyone who has made mum so welcome and especially to the care home manager it doesn’t feel like a care home it feels like mums home with an extended family.

We looked at a number of care homes in the area before deciding on Weald Hall for my stepfather. We were impressed by the open and bright aspect of the well-maintained building, the rural aspect, and good views. The staff appeared friendly and committed to providing the best care they could. Our initial
impressions were confirmed when my stepfather moved in and during his stay nothing was too much trouble which helped to make him and his family feel very welcome. The care plan that was created for him was detailed and each member of staff took the time to get to know him. The majority of staff that we met had worked at Weald Hall for many years and came across as really wanting to care for their residents and do the best they possibly could. The management team knew each resident by name and were very involved with their care too, going above and beyond which created a great atmosphere and camaraderie across all staff and residents.

My mum has Parkinson's dementia and has steadily been in declining health. My siblings and I visited about eight care homes for our mum, ready for the time she may need extra help. Weald Hall stood out as one of two excellent ones we saw. So when some months later we needed to organise respite care
for Mum, to give my dad a break, we knew who to speak to. The manager was so welcoming and helpful and we immediately warmed to her and her caring attitude towards her residents. She made us feel very confident that Mum would be safe and well looked after during her two weeks of respite care. The manager and her team didn't let us down. During the two weeks, we were kept informed of how she was coping and we were sent some photos and videos of the activities she took part in. They helped us with trying to get a medication review, which was something I was struggling with, spoke to doctors and community nurses on our behalf. I would certainly recommend Weald Hall.

My parents visited for respite care whilst I was on holiday. Due to my parents frailty I needed to be confident they would be safe and well looked after.
I visited Weald Hall Care Home to chat to the manager and the team and she showed me the double room that my parents would stay in. A newly refurbished
room to a very high standard. We then toured the home where I was shown the dining room, day room and cinema room.
Mum and dad also visited prior to their stay to meet the team and to see their room. The manager took time to ask them lots of questions as to their likes/dislikes and preferences.
When I took mum and dad to the home, the manager welcomed them with a bunch of flowers. They settled in and went to lunch.
I was safe in the knowledge my parents were well looked after.
When I spoke to mum she said all the team were friendly and chatty and always happy to help.
When they came home they both said they would be happy to go back to Weald Hall should the need arise.

Pleasantly situated in a quiet part of Thornwood/North Weald with a spacious garden, the home is run and staffed by a friendly, caring team who bend over backwards to ensure that the residents are able to enjoy security and still be able to get involved in shopping expeditions and trips out (escorted).
The food is nutritious and tasty and the chef comes around to check individual needs. There is a general ambiance of friendliness and camaraderie with the staff and residents and nothing is too much trouble! A good team and a well-run home.

My father has been at Weald Hall for just over a year; he has adjusted very well and enjoys living here. The staff are all lovely and genuinely care; you can see how passionate they are about making all residents feel comfortable. There have been a lot of changes since Dad first arrived and new owners
took over, it is all very positive, and the home is looking amazing; the priority here is definitely the residents and making their stay as pleasant as possible. I feel confident in my Dad's care at Weald Hall and that he is happy and safe.

Having looked at countless care homes; I believe I have found the perfect place for Mum.
There is a very calm, welcoming atmosphere; I have been very impressed with the manager's kindness, knowledge and warmth and feel that Mum will be well cared for.
I have struggled to cope for some time but have
been unwilling to let go. Having such a wonderfully decorated home, which doesn't look like the average care home, I am sure makes the transition easier for my mum and myself.
Her condition has made her fearful/agitated, I wouldn't let her go unless I felt assured that her needs could be met.
I believe this home with a manager who truly cares, goes above and beyond and knows her residents make all the difference. I will finally have some peace of mind.
I am, for the 1st time, excited about Mum getting the right care, with a detailed care plan being put in place. This has not been the case previously; I think I have found a really outstanding care home.

My stepnan has recently become a resident here. I visited her for the first time on 06/04/2023. I was greeted by one of the managers who gave me some details of how my nan had settled in. She showed me the signing-in procedure, where my nan's room was and took me to her in the communal living area.
I spent some time with my nan in the living area and dining room for supper. Staff were very welcoming, made me feel comfortable and attentive to all. For my first impressions, I was happy with the setting for my nan. The home is clean, well decored with a homely and warm feel.
My nan was happy, in good spirits and seemed comfortable. On my second visit, I spent some time in her private room which again is clean and comfy. I spoke with another manager who asked some questions about my nan and wanted to get to know her better and what would be good for her on a personal level.
So far, I am happy with the care my nan is being given and believe the staff have her best interests at heart.

My mother has been at Weald Hall for a little over a year and I find the care and warmth of the staff towards residents outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble.
My mother suffers with Alzheimer's and leaving her home of over 50 years could have been very challenging. She settled in right away and
is happy there. There is always an activity going on to fill the day and trips out are often organized.
The recent building upgrade is a huge plus and the communal areas resemble more a hotel than a nursing home.

My mum recently moved in after a difficult time in hospital and the staff at Weald Hall have really made a fuss of her and made her feel very welcome. There seems to be plenty of activities and outings and always a positive atmosphere. The new owner has clearly made a significant investment in the facilities,
with much to look forward to in the outside areas during the warmer months. Really pleased with how it’s going so far, thanks to all involved.

Having just visited my mother at Weald Hall, l found her dressed, clean and tidy and with a cup of tea and biscuits by her side. I ask the staff how mum has been and a full explanation was given, they were pleased to tell me how much she loved her recent shopping trip.


The improvements at the home

are very impressive and the finish is to a high standard. To conclude, l am extremely pleased with the care my mother is receiving, l am very impressed with the staff, from the manager to the care nurses and l am reserving a room there on my retirement.

All the staff are very friendly and care extremely well for my father. The care home does lots of activities to keep everyone stimulated. Both of my parents have been residents of Weald Hall Residential care home.
My father was there for two years and although the home has gone through some difficult times recently with a major refurbishment project, the level of care has been wonderful, especially in the last few weeks of his life.
The
manager has not been there long but is very much a hands-on care manager and doesn’t lock herself away in her office just dealing with paperwork.
She has shown care and kindness to all my family at a difficult time for us and attended my father's funeral with two key members of staff, the deputy manager and the home's administrator.
Danielle and her team continue to look after my Mother and I don’t believe she could receive better care at any other residential care home.
The home is now coming to the end of its refurbishment and I would definitely recommend the home to anyone who needs a care home for their loved ones.

My friend moved here in February last year. First opinions were very low, as the home was very shabby. However, the staff were amazing, and after a few visits, I realized that it was only cosmetic appearance that let the place down definitely not the staff. In the past few months, it has been taken
over, and an awful lot of money has been spent on it. Now it looks like a top-class hotel, and with the combination of the staff there, I would highly recommend this home to anybody. Well done, Weald Hall staff and management.

I have no words to describe this care home. Apart from one or two people that actually work there, nothing is dealt with appropriately or sufficiently. My poor Nan could have been waiting up to or more than 10-minutes just for a carer to come to her room and attend to her. What if she had fallen and
was left lying on the floor? It is absolutely appalling. You will use the lift once there and then you get told that it is then out of service the next. I know you can't use a lift in a fire but how do you propose to get all the residents down from the second floor? It's something that really needs to be looked at, and quickly. It is a massive red flag. The attitude of the staff was careless and rude and they think they know it all. I'm afraid that isn't the case. They would much rather be sat on their phones and ignoring those who need help. They left my Nan in a boiling hot room for 2-days because something had broken. Not good enough. Why should she suffer because of it? Do not recommend.

I required emergency support and advice in regards to care for my mother after constant failed contact with social care. The home staff were so helpful, professional and provided the support I required and my mother is well cared for in a safe environment with all the care required in place. I was able

My husband has been a resident at Wealdhall Residential Home since July 21 and I'm very pleased to say he's settled in really well. The staff are so good with him and he gets on very well with all of them.
He is always clean and tidy in himself and enjoys all meals that are put in front of him, his
room is lovely and he has a lovely view from his window. This has made my life so much much more bearable being without him. Thank you to all the staff from the bottom of my heart.

She began her journey as a Senior Carer, progressed to Head of Care, and now serves as the Manager. For Lisa, this role is more than just a job, it’s her passion and her way of life.


She is currently studying for her Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care.

Job Title: Operations Director

Fiona has over 30 years of experience working within the healthcare sector and is a Registered Nurse, remaining active on the NMC register. Her management career started as a charge nurse and then as a ward manager within the NHS, working in wards specialising in care for older adults enduring mental health conditions and dementia.


For the last 15 years, Fiona has worked in the Care Home Sector, taking on various Management roles, including Registered Manager, Regional Support Manager, Clinical and Quality Manager, Compliance Consultant and Operations Manager.


Remaining very hands-on clinically, she is passionate about supporting our management teams to deliver exceptional person-centred care, ensuring all individuals can maintain their independence and enjoy the excellent quality of life our care homes offer.

Louise is the Operations Manager at Premium Care Group Ltd, bringing over 20 years of experience in health and social care. Her career began as a domiciliary carer while raising her young children, originally seeking flexible work, she quickly discovered a deep passion for making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Since then, she has never looked back.


Throughout her career, Louise has held a variety of roles across the sector, each building on the last and shaping her strong understanding of what good care truly looks like. Her journey has led her to her current role, where she oversees multiple care homes, supports managers, and ensures the highest standards of quality, compliance, and person-centred care.


Louise is passionate about fostering environments where both residents and staff feel genuinely supported. She leads with integrity, remains hands-on when needed, and is deeply committed to staying connected to the people behind the work. Supporting others to succeed and feel valued is at the heart of everything she does.

Job Title: Group Lifestyle Manager

In July 2025, I was honoured to become the Group Lifestyle Manager for Premium Care Group, where I oversee and develop lifestyle programmes across all our care homes to enhance residents’ wellbeing and quality of life.


Before this, I was a Care Manager at Weald Hall, having started my career there as a care assistant. I quickly built strong relationships with residents and the care team. My passion has always been to make a genuine difference, caring for every resident as if they were part of my own family.

As Customer Liaison Manager, I support families in one of the most important decisions they’ll ever make, finding the right home for their loved ones. I guide and support each care enquiry with compassion and professionalism, ensuring every family feels heard, informed, and confident in their choices.


In addition to my work with families, I also oversee our marketing and advertising, helping to showcase the heart of our homes and the care we provide. I’m a people person at heart, and I’m proud to be part of a business that shares my core belief: life does not end with a dementia diagnosis. Our homes are places to continue living with dignity, joy, and purpose.
