Tucked away, in a secluded forest surrounding, Wensley House is located just a stone’s throw from the charming town centre of Epping.

All en-suite (some also with wet rooms) personalised rooms, a modern nurse call system, an advanced addressable fire alarm (pinpoints by exact location), and a gated development to allow for walks and an outdoor lifestyle and dining are just some of the things that make this a welcome home.

Be it the Oak Room, with warm oak walls where you can receive entertainers, enjoy movies, religious services, or the Garden Room, with end-to-end patio doors bringing the summer indoors, the airy conservatory to share with new resident budgies, or the dining room for all day refreshments and a choice of meals freshly prepared by a chef on the premises (top five star food hygiene rating) there is always a place to relax.

Friendly and warm staff really care about what they do and take pride in supporting you as you maintain both dignity and independence and regularly form close bonds with the residents and families. As a small, family run business, the directors are also here on a daily basis to support the staff and residents in the provision of excellent care. Staff receive all required checks and commence under review status for several months shadowing experts supported with advanced training with industry experts before becoming part of the team.

The members of staff are frienldy and polite. The level of care is attentive and catered for the personal needs of the patient. If there are any concerns, you are felt that you can express your concerns. Excellent at communicating if patients needs help.

Viewing Wensley House Residential Home for the first time a few months ago, my daughter and I were pleasantly received by the owner and senior manager. We were shown around their beautiful home and spoke to some staff, carers and others. We loved to see the happy faces of the residents. My husband needs

My mother-in-law has been at Wensley House for five years now. We have always been happy with the care provided; the staff are friendly and attentive, and the care provided is of a very good standard. The menu changes regularly, and the home is always clean and tidy. I have no problems at all in recommending

The staff at Wensley House have been so supportive in helping the family to arrange and organise appropriate care for my brother who has settled in, how relaxed he is with all the staff and how positive all the interaction has been. He is eating better than before, and responding well to encouragement

Wensley House is the most wonderful care home that I have ever experienced. My dad was fortunate enough to spend his last year there, and I couldn't have asked for a safer and comfortable environment for him. All the staff were always kind, considerate and treated my dad with so much respect and dignity.
I will always be so grateful to everyone at Wensley House for all that they did for my dad. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wensley House for my friends and family.

Having had previous experience of 2 care homes falling short, we were so happy to find Wensley House for my dad. The staff and management have been fantastic, and we have been so happy with the great care provided by wonderfully friendly and attentive carers in great accommodation and with good and

I visit my friend every week at Wensley House. My friend who has been in this care home for the last four years has never had anything to fault it with. She is very happy and the staff are very helpful when I come to visit her. The staff treat me exceptionally well and could not be more helpful. If

In all the years mum has been here I have always been impressed with the management and staff, how attentive and caring they all are. The food always looks nutritious and varied. Mum felt at home as soon as she arrived. The staff gave her a welcoming hug and did everything in their power to help her settle in. She was very frail when she moved in, but even after three days I could see the improvements in her physical appearance and her sense of confidence. She felt safe and
loved. Importantly the staff are permanent members of the team, rather than a rotating number of changing faces, so mum was surrounded by familiar faces. When the end approached, the management and staff did everything one could hope for to make her as comfortable as possible. Wensley House provides exemplary, loving care in every respect. I am extremely grateful.

My mother has been here for 2 months now, has settled in well and is very happy here. She has made new friends and joins in with activities. As a fussy eater they are prepared to meet her needs and are always kind and caring towards her, staff go above and beyond duties to help. Would recommend.
