The staff are friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home - you just get the feeling that everyone genuinely cares and that’s what you want for your loved ones.

My Auntie has been recently admitted to Beech Tree. I have been really surprised with the excellent welcome and care she has received upon arriving. The home is beautifully clean and nothing is too much trouble for the staff.

Having placed mum in care recently, I couldn't be more happy with the care and kindness shown to all of us including mum. Couldn't recommend the place more.

We were a bit apprehensive about putting our aunty in a care home, but I can honestly say the staff at Beech Tree have been absolutely amazing! The staff are kind, caring and very attentive. My aunt has new lease of life and feels very safe and at home. When I visit there is always a good atmosphere and I feel my aunt is very happy. Thank you very much.

Thank you Gary, we know how hard it is to have to make the decision to move a relative into a care home, but we are glad Beech Tree has been able to make it that little bit less of a worry.

I recently visited a long time friend of mine at this care home, I haven't seen her for such a long time and it was lovely to see her again. I telephoned the home first to find out when I could visit and was greeted with a lovely cheerful voice that explained that I could visit at any time. When visiting the home, I was greeted by a lovely nurse who took me to see my friend, I have to say the home has a lovely, cheerful and warm atmosphere and I felt very welcome. I would certainly recommend this care home along with the lovely staff to anyone that needs care, to see my friend so happy made my day, thank you so much Beech Tree for the lovely experience and for caring for my friend.

I have placed my wife with this care home on the suggestion of Adult Services Basingstoke.

After visiting the care home I was satisfied they would give her the care and attention she needed for her Dementia. It was a relatively new wing and everything was clean tidy and efficient.

I have no hesitation in recommending this care home. It is run by Select Healthcare Group and had a CQC unannounced inspection in February 2018 and was given a GOOD rating in all 5 categories.

Overall Experience

My mum was a resident of Beech Tree for 8 months. She had a lovely spacious en-suite room on the ground floor when she was mobile, then when slightly less mobile moved to another en-suite room on the first floor, which although smaller was very cosy and light. She received extremely good care from all the staff, nurses, care assistants and the catering staff. She was never forced to do anything she didn't want to, her wishes and dignity was respected at all times. She enjoyed the food and was always given a choice. Her room was kept beautifully clean, as were her clothes. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. When mum was nearing the end of her life, not only was she given excellent care, but also the family attending her bedside were treated with great care and tenderness.

We can only express our sincerest thanks to this great team of people, we will never forget what you have done for my mum. In our experience, we would not hesitate to recommend Beech Tree Care Home.

My mum has just arrived at Beech Tree after being transferred from another borough. The home's manager has been so welcoming and helpful to us. She is caring and listens to what we have to say. The home has a wonderful homely feel as soon as you walk in and the staff are so kind and friendly. I would have no hesitation in recommending this home. It's very stressful when a loved one has to go into a home but we felt at ease straight away.

The care home is run efficiently with staff who are dedicated to looking after the requirements of the residents.
The home is clean and tidy, offering a variety of activities for the residents to take part in. Compared to some, the cost of care is fairly reasonable.

Given the overall standard is very good.

My mother requires nursing care and has been at Beech Tree for 18 months and has always received good care and support from the staff. I always receive a welcoming hello and the staff are always willing to help.

There have been a lot of changes and a high turnover of staff over the last year, but there is now a new manager (July 17), and the home feels more settled, and the staff happier. I have no reason to doubt things will continue to improve as there is now investment in the home.
