I know I could not give my mother the care and support she is given at the home. Of course she would rather have stayed independent and in her own home or one of her children's homes but it is not possible with the care and attention she needs. We could not do better for her and are made very welcome when we visit.

The staff are always friendly and welcoming and will do all they can to help. The home was very helpful and understanding in the early days which was a very stressful time for us all. The atmosphere is always bright and cheerful and feels like home. Mum is always clean and well dressed with her hair and nails regularly done.

Very welcome rest for one week, staff were extremely helpful and very caring. Sometimes difficult as non-dementia resident.

This unit provides care for a number of ladies whose mental capacity have deteriorated and some who also have physical disability. It is readily accessible by visitors and I have always found there are good levels of care. In a unit where there are challenges they bring a lightness of touch and enthusiasm. The overall atmosphere is contentment. The rooms are comfortable and brightened by personal possessions of the residents. No one would volunteer - nor could they not live here - if the need ever arose this may well be as good as it gets.
