Mum is very happy and settled at the home, she only has good words to say and is very happy to return "home" after either I or my sisters have taken her out. I feel very relieved that I know that my relative is always well looked after, is kept safe, comfortable, well-fed and as contented as possible in the circumstances of dementia. I have been impressed by how much effort and imagination staff and management have put into the communal life of the home, especially at Christmas. I have also always been kept well informed of any medical situations occurring.

The role is very varied, involving plenty of resident interaction alongside the more administrative work to keep the home running smoothly.
