Greenhill Care Home

My mother recently has a fall in getting out of bed in her room. The carers and sister in charge informed me by telephone that my mother was in a lot of pain. I was able to give them my mother's medical history in relation to the fall, it was agreed that my mother needed to go to Barnet Hospital for a full examination. I can't thank the staff at Greenhill who were able to assist my mother as I was away with my family in the South West on this occasion. There care and support were truly amazing. Thank you.

Greenhill is extremely well run from the top down. All staff members are extremely professional, courteous and caring and we feel very welcome when visiting. It has become an extended part of our family and we are delighted with our relative's care. It is heartwarming to see him so well cared for and enjoy the many social events that are arranged.

Lucky and fortunate to have my mum in the same home as my dad had been in. From the manager to the gardener all the staff are fantastic. The place is always clean, residents well cared or and you feel part of a large family.

Greenhill is a very friendly care home and all the staff always greet you whenever they see you. They show a sincere caring attitude to all the residents and always have time to speak to relatives. They have a variety of activities and are very encouraging at getting the residents to participate.

Greenhill is a very professional well-managed home. The staff are exceptionally kind, professional, caring. The manager always available to speak to and kept my sister and myself up to date. Always there at every meeting and occasion, acted on any issue we brought to her. The reception desk always polite and friendly. The senior carers were always professional but kept a wonderful intimacy with the residents as if nothing was any trouble for them. Wonderful people. Thank you.

We are so relieved, and happy, to have found Greenhill, with it's warm, friendly and safe atmosphere, and environment, for my elderly mother, to stay in whilst we were away for 2 weeks. The staff are fantastic - so attentive and caring. We cannot praise them highly enough and the house is clean, bright and fresh, with some lovely communal areas, especially the sun lounge. Her spacious room and bathroom were spotless; excellent choice of food; beautiful gardens to walk or relax in and an extensive car park makes visiting so easy. Add to this the views - and you have the perfect home for the elderly. Absolutely first class!

I am so impressed by the care the whole staff bestow on the residents. To see a beloved mother go into a home is traumatic but to see her well looked after and safe is a great comfort. Bravo to the manager and her staff!

Greenhill is an excellent care home. Friendly, welcoming and caring. Nothing is too much bother. They respond quickly to request whether personal or by telephone. My mother-in-law is very happy here. They have a varied, regular, daily number of activities.

The care and attention my mother-in-law required was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. You could find a member of staff whenever you need them. So thank you so much for making her life comfortable to the end.

I like the atmosphere at Greenhill and I enjoy visiting. Everyone is friendly and welcoming and helpful if I have any queries. They seem to really care about their residents. There is a good balance of privacy and socialising for dad, and he loves to be entertained especially the singers! He loves the food and is mostly happy!

This care home has everything we wanted for our mother.

We found Greenhill through a company following my mother's short stay in hospital. My mother had mobility issues and was largely confined to a wheelchair. We found the management and staff to be caring and attentive and did their best to ensure Mum was comfortable and her needs were attended to. They built a good relationship with her and made her feel at home. As an old country house with extensive gardens the surrounds and interior of the house are well maintained. They ran activities every day and had twice weekly doctors visits, hairdresser and other services for residents. They were flexible on visiting times and accommodating when Mum needed to visit hospital or we needed to take her out by adjusting mealtimes etc. If we had one complaint it would be around their invoicing process which we found rather slow and opaque, but that was handled centrally and not by the local staff or management, who were totally focused on the care of the residents.

My parents visited Greenhill for respite care after a decline in health. The staff were superb in their care and attention, leaving me reassured when I wasn't able to be there.

Emails were answered promptly and helpfully, with action being taken immediately even on small things (like making sure my mother's mobile was working when I hadn't been able to reach her) and I was sent honest updates and photographs whilst abroad.

The staff provided exemplary advice and assistance and at all times managed the situation in a sympathetic and understanding way.

Greenhill has a great atmosphere, lovely gardens and made all the difference in my situation by providing such great respite care at very short notice. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
