Fantastic care home! Friendly, helpful staff. My mum has been here almost a year and the care she is receiving is excellent. The gardens are lovely and we love sitting and enjoying the sunshine and listening to the birds.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We are delighted to hear that your mum has been so well cared for over the past year and that you've

It was the 1st time for mum to use restbite and she was very nervous. There was no reason as she was made to feel welcome, comfortable and safe. Mum made friends with residents and staff. She has said she would love to come back. Thank you Greenbanks for all your help and support.

Hi Martin,
Thank you for your wonderful review. We appreciate your feedback.
Very nice surroundings.
Hello David, thank you for your lovely feedback. We are proud of our home and how passionate the team are towards providing exceptional care to our residents. We look forward to seeing you again.
Greenbanks were all very welcoming on arrival, settled in easily. We had no worries leaving mum for her respite break. Place was well staffed and all seemed genuinely caring towards people in their care. Thank you.
Hello, thank you for your wonderful feedback. We were glad to see how well mum settled during her respite stay. You are always welcome to bring mum for a cuppa and cake whenever you are in our vicinity. We appreciate your feedback.
My dad was admitted to Greenbanks on 15th August, as a resident in respite care, whilst my mother who was his main carer had an operation. He has dementia amongst other ailments and is physically disabled, so requires a lot of care. From the moment he was admitted, the care and empathy for dad's condition and our family's emotional journey to placing him in a care home, has been exemplary. It is now the 30th August and I can honestly say that every single member of staff my family and I have encountered, have been professional, accommodating and on every occasion put us at ease. They always greet us with a smile and no reasonable request is too much for them. I cannot praise this home enough. Clearly the management staff know and understand the quality of care that meets the needs of their residents. It is a bright, clean, homely and welcoming environment. Thank you all but in particular one member of staff for his constant kindness and care.
Hello Jane, thank you for the wonderful review. We are pleased to hear that you find Greenbanks homely and welcoming. We are glad to see how settled your dad is in his new home, and thank you for entrusting us with his care.
My Mum was a resident at Greenbanks from April-June 2025. Owing to Mum's Alzheimer's, additional care that we could not provide following an operation was needed. Never having used a care home before, we were very concerned about where to place Mum, but the staff at Greenbanks were so professional and sympathetic from the outset that any worries were immediately alleviated for us as a family. The care given by frontline staff was exemplary and the administrative side of things was dealt with very professionally. We always felt able to ask questions, and staff at all levels responded in an open and honest manner that served to reassure us. Activities and events at Greenbanks were consistent and enjoyable, and by involving families as well as residents, a sense of community in the home was created. Mum unfortunately passed away in June when her Alzheimer's went into its advanced stage, but we gained great solace from the dignified end of life care Mum received. Thank you everyone.
Thank you for the heartfelt review. We really appreciate your comments about how the team were able to alleviate any worries you had at the beginning with regards to placing mum in a care home. We understand it is a difficult decision for loved ones to make, but we are glad to hear that the team...
I was a respite patient on the 2nd floor room 54. All of the staff there were hard-working and efficient, caring and patient, and went out of their way to help in any way they could. Very, very clean and surprising quiet for a care home. As most of the residents are memory care, it was difficult to interact with them... But the staff more than made up for it. The food was delicious. The garden is beautiful and restful... as is the entire facility. I wish there had been more activities, but the activity coordinator was on vacation during my stay, so that is understandable... and the BBQ was fabulous!
Hello Janice,Thank you for your feedback. We are glad that you had a wonderful experience during your respite stay at Greenbanks, and we would love to welcome you back when the need arises. We are currently recruiting for an additional life style coordinator to support our existing coordinator, and we are confident that this additional support would make a huge difference with activities.

As this was my mother's first care home my concern was her settling. I didn't have to worry. I met the managers to discuss requirements and all the home can offer. The fantastic are excellent and she has settled straight away. In addition, the activities are superb.

The staff from the day centre knew my mother-in-law really well and worked in partnership with Greenbanks staff to help in her rehabilitation. She is now walking with her frame and engaging well with all the staff and residents.
As a family, we cannot thank everyone enough and would like to say an extra special big thank you to the manager of Victoria Day Center who was so dedicated to helping my mother-in-law's rehabilitation.
All staff have been very kind and caring and offer a high standard of care and we have been made very welcome as a family being able to visit whenever we want.

Greenbanks is the most amazing care home for my father. They can help with all his needs. All the staff and management are so kind and friendly.
Hello and thank you for the lovely review of our home. It was a pleasure looking after your father whilst he was at Greenbanks. Your dad has a good sense of humour and he had this way of making everyone laugh. Our doors are always open to welcome him back to our home if and when the need arises.
When I had the painful decision to make to put my wife into permanent residential care, I visited a number of homes in the local area. The fundamental criteria was that my wife had to be content, cared for and safe. All homes should achieve this next is the environment, not clinical. A homely feel, good sized bedrooms which can be furnished to make it welcoming for the residents, good open space, and gardens to let residents enjoy. Finally, any care home is basically bricks, mortar, and furnishings, it is the staff that make it a good care home. Greenbank has it all.
Hello and thank you for the wonderful review of our home. We are very pleased to hear that Greenbanks met your expectations and we would like to thank you for entrusting the care of your loved one into our hands. We appreciate your feedback.
My father was admitted for respite care and now is being transferred for long-term care to Greenbanks. He is very pleased with his care. The staff and management are helpful, caring and sympathetic. Well done to the whole team.
Hello and thank you very much for your feedback. We are pleased to see how well your father has settled in his new home. We are lucky to have compassionate teams in the home who always want to do well for our residents. We appreciate your feedback.
The bedrooms are always tidy and the bathroom clean. The staff are very friendly and approachable. Any problems are soon dealt with. At Greenbanks the facilities are very good and as a visitor, the lounge and garden area are very pleasant areas to meet and visit the residents. I feel confident that my husband is being well looked after. Having to admit that I couldn't cope any more was a hard decision.
Hello, and thank you for the wonderful review of our home. We are pleased to hear that your husband is well looked after at Greenbanks, and glad to hear that you also enjoy our facilities during your visits. We are very proud of our home and we appreciate your feedback.
