I was very worried about my mum going into residential care and it was quite a dramatic transition for a lot of reasons, but my mum started to improve generally (apart from dementia) not long after moving to Greenbanks. She is also clean and well fed and the staff are polite and attentive to her needs. After a very stressful few years, I no longer have to worry about my mum's welfare and I have peace of mind that she is in the right place, being cared for properly by people with the right training and expertise.

My father is new to Greenbanks. He first walked through the door three weeks ago, and the change in him in that short space of time is incredible. He has gone from spending 22/23 hours a day in bed, not eating; to walking around his new environment, sitting in the lovely garden, making lots of new friends and eating regularly. The activities coordinator even found someone to play chess with him.

My dad's room is lovely, it was all newly painted ready for him. Carpets look new as does the furniture.

Staff have made a real effort to get to know my dad.

There is a genuine care shown to the people and the buildings and facilities. Everything is kept clean and smelling fresh.

The only reason I have slightly marked down on facilities is that there is no internet signal in my Dad's room. Having said that, staff have been very co-operative with my requests to try a signal booster.

My dad is absolutely delighted with his new home, as are we, his family.

My father has been a client at the day care centre for the last few years and recently began attending Greenbanks full time.
We only have good things to say; the staff are caring and very patient, they show tremendous kindness to my father.

The facilities are clean, well furnished with a very nice atmosphere. I totally recommend!

My mother has only been at the care home for a short period of time and all the staff have made the transition very easy for her. She feels safe and well looked after and they made her feel very welcome.

The staff are very kind and helpful. Not only to my mother but myself too. The accommodation is always clean and well kept. They also encourage residents to make their rooms their own little piece of home.

My mum is suffering from a bedsore, she has had it since January this year. I am very pleased with the way she has been cared for and the way I have been kept me informed of her progress. I have been very pleased with the care that has been provided since my mum has been staying here.

Visited elderly aunt, who was admitted early in September 2016. The aunt was reluctant to give up her "independence" but every effort was made to feel her welcome and introduce her to other residents. We were encouraged to bring her own personal effects (T.V, photo's knick-knacks etc.) to make her delightful room feel more familiar. Thanks to this she is now feeling very comfortable and becoming more sociable with other residents. This home is very well staffed, with friendly, helpful care assistants always on hand. A very varied program of activities are available morning and afternoon, and residents are encouraged to join in.

My Dad moved into Greenbanks in Nov 2015, he attended a day centre for several months and needed extra care & to be safe due to Alzheimer's, so we chose Greenbanks which is opposite the day centre. The staff are friendly and caring, the home is really open and you can visit at any time. Sadly my dad had to leave Greenbanks and go into hospital. We really miss the home and its friendly homely feel. I would recommend "Greenbanks".
