The staff are very friendly and approachable. They know and understand my mum's needs, moods and routines. This certainly helps with her care and is treated with respect and dignity. I have no concerns with her own personal cleanliness, as well as her room and the overall facilities of the care home. I am impressed with how the staff are able to encourage Mum to eat as this has always been a struggle for her in later years. She also enjoys the activities, especially the music.

My sister is a resident of Greenbanks. It is situated in lovely quiet grounds. The residents can sit out or just walk around the lovely garden. The rooms are all newly decorated and exceptionally clean. There is always something to occupy them whether it's singing, crafts or going out for a little trip to a garden centre or park. The residents are all treated with empathy and dignity. The staff keep me well-informed on every aspect of my sister's care. They have had some big changes in Manager and Unit Manager and you can tell the difference. The staff are very happy and jovial and work well together and work as one with the very able Unit Manager. I would recommend this care home wholeheartedly I don't think I could look after my sister any better than they do. Thank you to you all.

My dad has been in Greenbanks for nearly 1.5 years.
I have been most impressed with every single staff member from deputy manager, unit manager, well-being leads, care team leaders, home administrator, and the whole of the care team.
I cannot praise them enough.

About the manager (we're on no. 7!) What is going on? It is terrible, there is obviously something going on in Runwood Homes! They have all seemed nice, but when they want to improve things it seems they are stopped! When is this going to stop? Also the weekly cost was put up by nearly £100 a week! How is this justified? I hope it is the staff who have benefited but I don't think so!

My mother has been in this care home for over 3 years and I am very happy with her care. The rooms are always clean and tidy and she always has clean bedding. The staff treat her as if she were their own mother and always with respect and dignity. I am always kept up to date with Mum's care and how she is doing so I don't need to worry.

3rd ambulance in 2 weeks (5th 999 since Jan) All incidents "unwitnessed" (eg- gashed forehead, double fractured pelvis, broken nose, cut head, multiple severe bruising, skin rips & tears)
4th ambulance crew raised major care concerns and I witnessed their paperwork handed to night staff. Next day, day staff knew nothing of any paperwork.
Occupational Therapy (OT) care plan rehab instructions (agreed by home manager) not implemented. One "carer" told me she'd not been told but, either way, if that kind of care was wanted I'd have to buy it in! Same person later claimed not to have been told of the care plan a 2nd time when a new manager took over!
Found Mum alone in a corridor in a wheelchair (breaking at least 2 OT instructions) so I filmed as evidence. Suddenly staff appear complaining I'm in breach of GDPR but no contrition for her being unattended.

Latest hospitalisation from 10/5 - 14/6 but not one phone call asking me how she is. Not fit for purpose. She ain't going back there!

All of the staff, from the amazing carers themselves, to the managers, receptionist and cleaners are always pleasant and helpful.

Cannot fault the medical care. The home is kept well clean. The garden could be looked after better maybe a gardener who knows what he's doing knowledge-wise.
Communication on activities could be better i.e. trips on the home's bus.

The food looks okay. Staff very helpful and friendly.

My father has been in Greenbanks since December 2022, moving from another home. He has been treated by staff like their own dad. The compassion, love and care is over and above what I would expect.
When my father passed, I could see how much the staff thought about my dad, even though they only knew him for 10 months.

The home had space for our large family to sit with my dad and celebrate birthdays. The outside space was great for the kids to let off steam and my dad to enjoy the sun.

The care and attention are very good, everybody is very easy to talk to. The food is good and varied. Very close attention is given to health and well-being. All staff are always happy and willing to help at any time. The bedrooms could do with a freshen up and repaint. Overall, we are all very happy.

I came to Greenbanks on last Feb. I'm funding my own accommodation. I'm living in Greenbanks for more than a year now. Staff are very caring and polite at all times. Manager really takes good care of our needs. Staff are very knowledgeable and they handled the pandemic really well. The home is very clean and the domestic staff works really hard to keep it clean. Other support staff are very friendly and can be reachable at any time. I would like to come down every day and spend most of the time in reception chatting with the support staff. I'm overall very happy with the service of Greenbanks and its staff.
