Arrived at home to see my mother being fed lunch, Friday so lovely sausage and chips, mum ate it all and was offered condiments she very much enjoyed and commented how lovely it was. She was nicely dressed, clean, well kept and happy, bravo first class service.

I am exceptionally pleased with my 100 year old mother's care. Everyone, including office staff, knows her ways and always says hello in the corridors. They encourage her to join in and allow her to sleep on her terms. Food is brilliant, well thought out and choices. Lovely patios for summer. Mum loves nutritional milkshakes staff make. I know Mum is well cared for. Thank you everyone.

I visited Halcyon Days care home to see my aunt, and I left feeling so reassured. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm, peaceful atmosphere. The management and staff, they were not only professional but genuinely friendly, greeting my aunt by name with a smile.

It's clear they treat the residents like family. I was able to spend quality time with my aunt in the lovely communal lounge, which was bright, clean, and had a real sense of community. It's a huge weight off my mind to know she is in such a safe, caring, and supportive place. Thank you to the whole team for looking after her so well.

We cannot thank the team at Halcyon Days enough for the unexpected stay my mum experienced after a nasty fall. The team, as a whole, were very caring. They not only helped our mum. My dad is in the dementia section and is well cared for by the staff. The staff are supportive and friendly. The care home is situated in a nice quiet area and easy to find parking.

The care home is very spacious, lots of room for everyone to move around and a big dining area to get together and eat, socialise rather than being stuck in their room. The management are approachable, if you have any concerns you want to raise

Over the past 2 months, I have visited my daughter weekly. She was sent there after recovering in hospital for 4 weeks having been knocked down by a car.

She was very run down when the accident occurred, so I was delighted to see her gradually improving in health, having regular meals and good company of people who talked to her. The feeling of friendship was felt immediately on entering the centre. The staff are welcoming and caring to all of the patients. It is a very well-run care home.

I visit my aunt fairly regularly and I always find the staff very polite and helpful. Having not eaten I could not say what the food was like, but my aunt tells me the food is ok. I did take something to her room once and it seemed quite reasonable and comfortable. My wife was in a similar care home and I know that although the Victorian buildings are suitable they can be difficult to maintain. On the whole, I think you all do a fantastic job.

My husband was taken ill once again recently but this was quickly identified and monitored and action was taken in accordance with our wishes for him to be looked after in the home rather than sent to the hospital. All the staff are very caring and do their best to keep the residents happy and comfortable and monitor them constantly and make sure they keep well hydrated. The management is always approachable and available to talk over any concerns we have and receptive to suggestions. I and the family are very happy with the care my husband is receiving, it is a bonus to have lovely surroundings and to be able to sit outside in the garden when the weather permits. I would also like to say how kind the carers are to me and the family when we visit, making sure that we are looked after as well, there is always a cup of tea waiting!

Nan is quite settled until we arrive! The carers are very good with her, she has regained lost weight and they calm her down when she is upset. I’m content that she is well looked after and she has kind friends around her, even though they sadly struggle to recall each other's names.

My dad is currently residing at Halcyon Days on respite care. Which we are hoping/expecting to become permanent. Dad has gone from being unsafe and scared at home, neglecting himself and being very sad and lonely to being happy, taking care of himself. The staff genuinely care care for the residents and I see them interacting with empathy and compassion with residents. The environment is clean and always smells fresh. the grounds are stunning. As a family, we no longer have the constant worry.
