I'm more than happy with my mum's placement at Halcyon Days and would not hesitate to recommend the home to others. My mum is well cared for and the staff are warm, welcoming and helpful. As the family of a resident, it gives us such peace of mind to be happy with the home thank you. Due to the pandemic, I cannot comment firsthand on facilities, food and drink as there are necessary restrictions on access.
This is difficult to answer as my brother I feel needs to be with people who are more on his care level, people he could talk to or work in the garden - go for a walk with. I believe he is too able for some of the residents and he gets frustrated.
