Anson Court is based in a quiet, residential area and offers residential, dementia and respite care, as well as day care for older people who are still living in the community. The home provides accommodation for up to 75 older people.

The home is situated close to local amenities and offers all the comfort you'd expect from a modern care home.

Within the home you’ll find a café which provides an ideal place to sit and socialise with friends and family over tea, coffee and other refreshments.

The home also includes a number of comfortable and inviting lounges, a hairdressing salon and shop as well as welcoming dining areas. All of the bedrooms are en-suite and are fully furnished with items from the carefully selected range.

Within the grounds of the home you'll find beautiful landscaped gardens which feature a number of seating areas and patios as well as raised planters. The gardens are overlooked by large balconies which are a perfect place to sit and socialise during the warmer months.

My mother attends the day centre twice a week. The staff are amazing and she is always welcomed with a big smile. The care and attention she receives are wonderful and she is so happy to attend. There is always a lovely atmosphere and I feel secure in the knowledge that she is safe and happy and having
lots of fun. It gives me such peace of mind. She eats really well while she is there and the staff have gone to a lot of trouble to encourage her when she has gone through phases of not being so keen. Thank you.

I recently had my mum come to stay as a permanent resident of Anson Coury.
Wonderful place it is.
The staff are amazing, very friendly, caring and supportive.
Everyone has made my mum feel so at home here.
She's a changed woman.
Everyone here works so hard, and they all deserve so much praise.

My 97 year old father is a resident of Mosquito Unit. The staff treat him with kindness, respect and dignity. I am very happy with the dementia care that my father receives. The facilities and his room are kept very clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Anson Court to anyone that has an elderly relative
that needs care.

I found Anson Court to be a lovely home, always clean and very tidy. The staff are very lovely, kind and helpful towards all residents. My cousin is very, very happy here. I am always made most welcome every time I visit my relative.

My aunt was extremely happy on Lancaster and really well looked after by most of the staff who treated her like family. In her last two weeks, which were very distressing, the staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. We felt they went above and beyond! Thank you so very much.

Wonderful care and looking after everybody's individual needs. Carers go above and beyond in all cases of care and nice manner to deliver the care that is needed. My sister moved to Anson Court after the closure of another care home. She immediately was made most welcome. She has a large comfortable room and bathroom. The staff seem very kind and understanding and efforts are made to lay on a range of activities for the residents which my sister thoroughly enjoys.
Though I feel that it would be good if there were more days out (visits) arranged. On visiting Anson Court I have found the premises extremely clean and well-furnished. The management ensure all covid-19 precautions are met by the staff and visitors. Overall I feel that Anson Court is a very good home and provides an excellent experience for my sister.

We came to visit our relative and had a very pleasant time. There were 2 members of staff on hand at all times who interacted with all the residents with care and compassion. They had obviously taken care to get to know the residents.

All of the staff at Anson Court are very helpful and friendly. They were especially welcoming when Mum recently came out of hospital. Since returning to Anson Court both her physical and mental health have improved immensely. The staff are encouraging and always make sure to pop into her room on a regular
basis, giving assistance where needed. All in all, Mum is very happy there.

I am really pleased with the respect and care that my mother receives at Anson Court. The staff in the unit are both loving and caring (with a couple of exceptions). Staff are always willing to listen and help. Downstairs at reception, they are happy to answer any questions or queries that I have. I
would recommend Anson Court to anyone looking for care for a loved one.

I cannot praise the staff at Anson Court enough! The care they have shown my Gran has been amazing! They have all been very friendly and she describes them as 'good girls'. She is very happy at Anson Court.

My mum has been a resident since April 2021. The home has done its utmost to make my mum feel settled as she was very anxious. There has been the odd hiccup but any issue is dealt with promptly and resolved. I would recommend this home to anyone. A really lovely, friendly, and caring team.

I love Anson Court. The staff here are wonderful often working well beyond the call of duty. They have become like an extended family for me, and I am delighted they are looking after my mum.

My wife has been at Anson Court for three years now. The staff and management are great. The fact that the staff have been at Anson Court for a very long time, that shows its a good place to work. The facilities at the home excellent, as well as the food.

My mother has been very happy the last 2 years she has been here. Her care has been excellent. The carers have been wonderful and we have always been updated with any problems that may have arisen. As a family, we are reassured that she is safe, happy and healthy.

The meal in the café cooked by the chef was top marks. Could not grumble at all. The chicken was so very tender. Starter fabulous and pudding ace. We have come here since it starter and gets better each year.
