My friend moved in to Willow Court in April 26. I have visited her couple of times since and have always been impressed by warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are kind and very caring. My fried is very happy living here and often speaks positive about care and support they recieved when we talk on the phone. Its gives me great peace of mind knowing she is happy, safe and genuinely cared for.

I would like to thank Willow Court for the wonderful birthday tea party this afternoon for my mother. When I arrived I found her bedroom beautifully decorated with a birthday banner and ballon's in her bedroom I was greeted by my mother who had a smile on her face and she was enjoying all the special birthday treats. We had invited ladies from our village who enjoyed an afternoon tea in the candy room which was decorated with more ballon's and birthday banners. After a tea of sandwiches and cakes Mum was presented with a beautiful decorated birthday cake. I left my Mum sitting in her bedroom with a happy smile on her face. A special thank you to all those who made my mums 94th birthday such a happy day

My mum had to leave willow court today. The fact that she didn't want to leave speaks volumes as mum has dementia and finds it hard to settle.
After a hospital stay mum was placed at willow court and the care, compassion and attention she received was second to none.
Every team member was amazing and delivered excellent care, special thank you to Sharon and David who really went above and beyond.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did for us. We will miss you.

The staff of Willow Court looked after our friend Pamela with such kindness and gentle care and professionalism. She had no family left but a group of friends who visited regularly during the months she lived in the home. Willow Court has an atmosphere of friendliness, jollity, peace and good food....the staff handled our 92 year old friend's passing with great tenderness..Thank-you so much..

We were greeted in a friendly manner. There was a church related service going on, and everyone was joining in. Very nice. Your staff supplied us with sandwiches and tea. They were all very friendly. Our relative was quite content and happy with her surroundings.

Hi my brother in law had to go into card for a week because his wife had a mild stroke so she needed to rest willow court in harpenden was able to take him in which was great ,but when we visited him on the first day he said he was given a cold shower in the morning the nurse undressed him sat him on the seat under the shower and turned the shower on so cold water went on him he was absolutely shocked by this and screamed eventually the warm water came through she roughly washed him then tired the cold water on again terrible. When we arrived and went up to his floor the smell of urine was absolutely disgusting we walked passed one old lady poor woman absolutely stuck of urine, yesterday we arrived in reception there was a man with a simmer frame wondering around reception absolutely smelling of poo he was still there your later so can imagine how the reception absolutely stuck of him and there was nobody on reception we had to go looking for somebody. This place wants a deep clean and staff need retraining.

We were absolutely delighted with the care that our Father received during his two weeks in respite at Willow Court. The home has a lovely, friendly atmosphere and the staff are caring, attentive and knowledgeable. There were various activities which made it a stimulating environment for our father. He has the opportunity to take part in musical activity, which he really enjoys, having been musical in earlier life. We are confident that Dad was well looked after at Willow Court and that the staff had his very best interests at heart.

The staff look after my mother and sister very well. They are thoughtful and make sure my mother and sister see each other regularly. They make us feel welcome when we visit and help make celebrations like Christmas and birthdays special. My mother has just celebrated her 105th birthday, and the staff all helped her celebrate in style.

I am 100% happy with all my dealings with W.C. My friend is very lucky to be at W.C and I think that the staff are so kind in looking after him. I do not understand how they can be so patient.
The great pity is that he does not appreciate how lucky he is.

Value for money is not relevant.

I came here for a weeks respite care. During this time I have experienced great assistance and friendliness and cooperation from the staff. I have no problem in recommending the caring I received for the entire time that I was here and two lovely helpers went out their way to bath me a second time because I loved their help on the first occasion. A very big thank you to a very dedicated team.

I would like to say that I am very impressed with the new manager at Willow Court, Harpenden. The fact that she is a qualified nurse & dementia nurse - not just an adept manager, is making the care better.

The laundry - identification of clothes & loss of glasses, etc - leaves a lot to be desired.

My mum needed two weeks of respite, and Willows Court ticked all the boxes. From our initial visit we were impressed with the facilities and most importantly the friendliness/professionalism of the staff. Having spent over 6 weeks in hospital my mum was very keen on a shower which she had on her first full day there and also a haircut which was also quickly arranged. All the staff treated my mum with real respect and helped in her recovery. Thank you!
