Willow Court, conveniently located in Harpenden, offers a range of care services including residential care, specialist dementia care and respite care. In addition, there is a day care centre for older people.

Within the home you'll find welcoming lounges and dining rooms as well as other inviting areas including cosy corners and themed areas. Each of the bedrooms in the home are en-suite and fully furnished. The bedrooms in the home's extension also include showers. All bedrooms benefit from wi-fi connectivity, a nurse call system and a television.

Willow Court has it's own café area, conveniently situated near reception, which is the perfect place to sit and socialise with family and friends over tea, coffee and other refreshments. The French doors of the café open straight onto one of the garden patios, perfect for summer BBQs and parties.

The home's beautiful landscaped gardens include a number seating areas and patios, raised flower beds and a gazebo. A perfect place to relax in during the spring and summer months.

Willow Court has its own dedicated activity worker who ensues that there are plenty of activities for residents to take part in.

The carers are all angels, such a good care home and all the staff are friendly. The Gatsby event today was fabulous, the choir was lovely and a brilliant team effort by all staff.

The great Gatsby garden party was fantastic. They clearly put a lot of effort into designing the garden, music and entertainment was great and Dad loved the singing. TYhe hot buffet food was delicious. Looking forward to future events! Well done to all the hard-working staff!

A wonderful meal at pop up restaurant. Everyone so friendly and such a great atmosphere. Great pianist provided background music. We even had a sing-song. The chef was given a well-earned round of applause. The manager introduced herself and was very welcoming.

When my father died in September 2018, we had an urgent need to find residential care for my mother who suffered from Alzheimer's. How fortunate we were to find Willow Court. A comfortable room was found for her and she settled in very well. When, after 5 months in their care, mum passed away, the staff
were dedicated, professional and supportive in every way to the end and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble. The standard of care during her stay was second to none. The environment is safe and pleasant and the staff go the extra mile to add seasonal decorations so the "landscape" changes often. Rooms and common areas are decorated to a high standard. There are regular, optional activities such as a church service, choir and outings for residents who can manage it and a restaurant area where family can meet residents on occasion. I have no hesitation in recommending Willow Court.

I could not have been happier with care received. Mum felt cared for and safe. She was always treated with dignity and respect and genuine kindness. I was personally touched by the kindness afforded also to myself and family when mum was end of life care. Thank you is not adequate enough to express

A well run home with activities for residents and family members to come and join in and interact.
It does feel like a home that everyone feels comfortable in.
I would say there may need to be greater communication between reception and ward carers as the information may not always come across and
residents may not be ready.

The staff at Willow Court have worked very hard to help my recently widowed mother to settle into a very new living arrangement at a time of much grief for her and family members.
They have been marvellous and have on the one hand given her space to grieve and reflect whilst on the other hand encouraged
her to join into activities. It is taking time but we are already beginning to see the return of a 'twinkle in her eye'.

Very briefly then, the impact that everyone on Heather Vale has had on Mum's wellbeing has been brilliant. They have unearthed aspects of her character and personality that we thought had been lost forever. The smiles on their faces, their bright eyes, the colourful clothing they all wear and the decorations
they put up, lifts the spirits of everyone - just brilliant. Thank you!
