Was invited to a Christmas lunch which was absolutely excellent. The food and presentation surpassed many restaurants. The manager and her staff served. Very memorable.

The staff at Willow Court have worked very hard to help my recently widowed mother to settle into a very new living arrangement at a time of much grief for her and family members.

They have been marvellous and have on the one hand given her space to grieve and reflect whilst on the other hand encouraged her to join into activities. It is taking time but we are already beginning to see the return of a 'twinkle in her eye'.

Very briefly then, the impact that everyone on Heather Vale has had on Mum's wellbeing has been brilliant. They have unearthed aspects of her character and personality that we thought had been lost forever. The smiles on their faces, their bright eyes, the colourful clothing they all wear and the decorations they put up, lifts the spirits of everyone - just brilliant. Thank you!

Watching mum slowly deteriorate and withdraw continues to be a very sad and stressful experience. Yet, the levels of care and support mum receives at Willow Court is beyond anything I would have anticipated. Some issues are particularly challenging and yet the carers remain kind, compassionate, optimistic and resourceful. The home is warm, friendly and exceptionally clean. The decor and furniture are homely and inviting, the food without fail is nourishing, plentiful and tasty. As a visitor it is very uplifting to see all the activities taking place. Primarily, for me, the dignity and respect showed towards my mum gives me peace of mind, that I am so very grateful for.

I have visited a resident twice and have always found the home clean - after the first time I came, there was a terrible smell of urine upstairs. Came for a meal which was excellent. Food, service, staff, cleanliness all excellent. Everyone seemed very happy and friendly.

Unfortunately my aunt was only at Willow Court for 24 hours before she passed away, however, the care and compassion the staff showed for both her and us as a family during that short time was excellent.

It was a pleasant surprise to be invited to breakfast on the basement floor, where the staff made us welcome and the music was playing. They created a happy atmosphere, as indeed they always do. Those feeling glum are cheered up and encouraged as a result!
