Called in today to the 'bake-off'. Thank you for making us so welcome. My husband and I were very impressed by the calming, warm reception from the staff and residents.

I have found all the carers, night and day lovely, almost without exception and get on well with them. The food, on the whole, is quite good.

My first visit to the home. The first impression is the environment is good. The evening was very pleasant and the dinner was excellent indeed, the sweet portion was too big.

Willow Court always seems to be very welcoming with friendly staff and a warm smile behind reception. The staff are always very attentive to my grandma and know her likes and dislikes and how to settle her when she gets agitated. A particularly nice touch is the monthly pop up restaurant which provides a sociable and relaxing way to visit and the food is always excellent. I would highly recommend Willow Court to other families. They have helped us at a very difficult time and we will always be grateful.

Overall Experience

Mum arrived in Willow Court in November 2017. Management made this emotionally difficult experience so easy for us as a family. From the top down, Staff always have time to talk to us and reassure us over any concerns we may have. The excellent Chef put on a wonderful buffet for our whole family at Christmas, held in a comfortable lounge where adults and young children could feel relaxed. Mum thoroughly enjoyed it! The patience and care shown to Mum at all times, including some challenging behaviours, is excellent. Management, care staff and entertainment staff are so kind and friendly and respect mum’s need to be independent whilst ensuring that necessary care takes place. Mum has joined the Choir, goes to Church Services, watches Dinky Dancers, goes on outings and has made some new friends. These are all things that we never believed would be possible a few months ago and it is so lovely to see mum’s quality of life improve and horizons broaden for her at Willow Court.

I am delighted with the care and attention my wife has received since entering Willow Court in November 2017. My wife who has Alzheimer's has settled in and is now quite happy. She has made friends and enjoys all the activities offered by the home.

Thanks to all the staff at Willow Court who are all helpful, understanding and caring. I am more content with my own life. Thank you.

Very well organised with separate tables and balloons including the date of a special birthday for my friend. A special cake with candles was made by the chef, which my friend managed to blow out all at once!

Scones and jam and cream, plus sherry and the usual coffee complimented the birthday tea.

Willow Court suits my friend very well - she likes the food and enjoys all the activities provided and the friendliness of the carers. I have not put 'Extremely Likely' to recommend because that depends on the situation and the personality of the resident. I am impressed by the care she has and the way it is given. Today's 90th birthday has been a great success and my friend has so enjoyed seeing so many friends.
