Willow Court, conveniently located in Harpenden, offers a range of care services including residential care, specialist dementia care and respite care. In addition, there is a day care centre for older people.

Within the home you'll find welcoming lounges and dining rooms as well as other inviting areas including cosy corners and themed areas. Each of the bedrooms in the home are en-suite and fully furnished. The bedrooms in the home's extension also include showers. All bedrooms benefit from wi-fi connectivity, a nurse call system and a television.

Willow Court has it's own café area, conveniently situated near reception, which is the perfect place to sit and socialise with family and friends over tea, coffee and other refreshments. The French doors of the café open straight onto one of the garden patios, perfect for summer BBQs and parties.

The home's beautiful landscaped gardens include a number seating areas and patios, raised flower beds and a gazebo. A perfect place to relax in during the spring and summer months.

Willow Court has its own dedicated activity worker who ensues that there are plenty of activities for residents to take part in.

Mum is always well looked after. She is always nice and clean. Her carers are nice and friendly towards me and mum. She is well assisted with catering her meals if need be. I feed her with supper when I'm here, which I enjoy.
The staff always make sure mum always has a drink if she needs one.

The care home was tidy and very welcoming. I was impressed with how the staff treated their residents in the care home, with respect, making them feel comfortable. The entertainment was amazing, the residents all looked lovely and enjoyed the band theme.

My mother is a resident at Willow Court. She is very happy there. All the staff, carers and management are always very polite and helpful when we have a problem. They can't do enough for my mother and are all very kind and caring. There is always plenty of activities going on which my mother loves to
attend. I couldn't wish for a better home for her to spend the rest of the time she has left.

I have never been disappointed. It's a good, healthy balanced diet. Sugar and salt, in moderation. The range of desserts is also excellent.

After realising our mother needed daily and consistent care, we like so many families, were faced with a serious decision. Four months on, we are all really happy with the way she is being cared for and supported. Any initial concerns we had were quickly forgotten. She is safe and happy. I visit my
mother most days and I can honestly say that, on the whole, the staff at all levels are kind, caring and respectful of their elderly, vulnerable residents. Well done and thank you!!

I have nothing but admiration for the way Willow Court is run. The residents are treated with dignity and given good support, and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The change of decorations throughout the year makes a wonderful distraction, and the photographs on the walls of the residents involved
in activities gives it a homely look. There is a wide range of activities to make sure there is something for everyone, and the landscaped garden means that you can enjoy the changing of the seasons. I would happily recommend Willow Court to my friends whether for day care, respite care or permanent residence.

Willow Court always seems to be very welcoming with friendly staff and a warm smile behind reception. The staff are always very attentive to my grandma and know her likes and dislikes and how to settle her when she gets agitated. A particularly nice touch is the monthly pop up restaurant which provides
a sociable and relaxing way to visit and the food is always excellent. I would highly recommend Willow Court to other families. They have helped us at a very difficult time and we will always be grateful.

Mum arrived in Willow Court in November 2017. Management made this emotionally difficult experience so easy for us as a family. From the top down, Staff always have time to talk to us and reassure us over any concerns we may have. The excellent Chef put on a wonderful buffet for our whole family at
Christmas, held in a comfortable lounge where adults and young children could feel relaxed. Mum thoroughly enjoyed it! The patience and care shown to Mum at all times, including some challenging behaviours, is excellent. Management, care staff and entertainment staff are so kind and friendly and respect mum’s need to be independent whilst ensuring that necessary care takes place. Mum has joined the Choir, goes to Church Services, watches Dinky Dancers, goes on outings and has made some new friends. These are all things that we never believed would be possible a few months ago and it is so lovely to see mum’s quality of life improve and horizons broaden for her at Willow Court.
