My uncle came for respite and the staff and management were brilliant with him. He enjoyed his stay and couldn't be more happy with the facilities, he especially enjoyed the food! highly recommended! My uncle enjoyed spending some time in the garden and everyone was friendly
Thank you for your review. We are delighted to hear that your uncle enjoyed his respite stay with us and that both he and your family had such a positive experience. It is especially lovely to know that he enjoyed the food, spent time relaxing in the garden, and felt welcomed by our friendly team. Your kind words about our staff, management and facilities mean a great deal to us. Thank you again.
No complaints with this care home. Resident seems as happy as possible under the circumstances. Have stayed during meal times. Excellent food. All in all no dissatisfaction.
Thanks you for your kind review. We're so pleased that you're happy with the services provided by the home and that you're finding the food to your liking.
The food was very good and my wife enjoyed her food.
The outside gardens are beautiful and I spent many days when in the home in the garden with my wife.
Carers on my wife's unit were very good, helpful, and polite.
The home is well situated away from roads and shops. The staff are caring and very helpful. The home is clean and has good facilities. The care given is excellent. I am very happy with the care my Mother receives.
The home is exactly that, a home!
Staff are wonderful and caring.
The manager has time to listen and is a lovely man.
It's wonderful to see Mum so happy.
It warms our hearts to receive such positive feedback! We strive to create a supporting and enriching environment where our residents can thrive.
This home is extremely well run. The staff are kind and understanding. This is a warm and friendly environment and my father suffering from dementia receives excellent care. The family are always welcome and there is a good program of activities. I would highly recommend it.
Thank you so much for your kind words! Providing exceptional care and support to our residents is our top priority.
I cannot fault the home in any way, my husband has been a resident for nearly two years now. The only thing I would say is that the residents do need more activities.
We truly appreciate your positive feedback. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure that every resident receive the highest quality of care. Wishing you a wonderful day!
We spent two hours visiting resident on the 4th of March. We were offered drinks. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Ten out of ten for service provided.
Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with us! Wishing you a wonderful day!
After a six-week stay in hospital and a promise of surgery which was later refused as it was thought that her body would not be able to stand the trauma, my wife was discharged with total loss of the use of her legs and was showing signs of dementia. It was decided that full-time care was her best option. Following previous respite stays a previous care home was our first choice but we were disappointed that there were no beds available at the time so Providence Court was the obvious second choice. We wanted to retain the ethos of 'for care, not profit'. And we have not been disappointed. The care and courtesy shown by the manager and staff to the patients and their visitors is excellent and urgent requests are responded to quickly. The food is good and the premises are clean and seem well cared for. Entertainment and activities are available if required and I am delighted to say that after a period of settling in my wife is now completely comfortable and the signs of dementia are gone.
Thank you so much for your kind words! Providing exceptional care and support to our residents is our top priority, and we're thrilled to hear your positive feedback. Have a wonderful day!
Our aunty has recently become a resident and we all came to visit her for the first time. We were welcomed with a smile by everyone. We enjoyed a lovely lunch together and felt very much at home and relaxed. We chatted with several carers and other residents and had a really lovely afternoon. Thank you.
We're delighted that you had a wonderful experience at Provident Court! It's incredibly rewarding to know that our efforts to create a warm and welcoming environment for our residents and their families are being appreciated. Have a wonderful day!
When my brother was here first in early December, he waxed lyrical about how fabulous the care was. Now he is back, and when my wife and I visited the home on 4th January, we could see what led him to characterize the home as he did. It was quite clear that the staff were all committed to providing quality care, and their attention to detail was very evident. What a refreshing change to what we have heard generally about care homes.
Thank you for your comment. The team at Providence Court are delighted to have your brother stay with us. Wishing you a wonderful day!
Lovely staff and good care.
He especially liked the food!
Thanks for having him!
Have a lovely day!
The staff are caring and friendly, they always make time for my mother. They are very patient and always on hand. The facilities are well laid out and there are many and varied activities to engage residents. They always keep us informed of any issues. I am very happy with the care given.
Thank you for your comment. The team at Providence Court are delighted to have your mother stay with us. Wishing you a wonderful day!
Visiting my mother is not prearranged with the staff, so I always get a true picture. Mum always looks happy and cared for. There are lots of activities planned on a regular basis, and my last visit coincided with Diwali celebrations. The staff had gone to so much effort decorating the room, providing different sorts of Indian food and dressing in traditional costumes. Local nursery children also came in to sing to the residents, as well as a therapy dog for the residents to interact with. It was all a wonderful experience to witness and participate in. Well done.
Thank you for your comment. The team at Providence Court are delighted to have your Mother stay with us. Wishing you a great day!
Friendly and helpful when taken in for her visit. Polite and knowledgeable staff. I believe Mum enjoyed her stay however it is very hard to determine what she liked or disliked due to her Alzheimer's.
Thank you for your comment. The team at Providence Court were delighted to have your mum visit us. Wishing you a great day!
Overall a pleasant stay.
Thank you for your feedback. Wishing you a great day!
My brother is well cared for given his situation and mobility. The staff is always friendly and welcoming.
Have a lovely day!
We arrived to a warm welcome by all the staff. There was a pleasant smell throughout. The staff gave us comprehensive information about my aunt - they all obviously knew her although she has only been there for one week, and were happy to answer questions. Our main contact has been amazing meeting all of my aunt's needs and requests. My aunt looked so well and was so content. We were so impressed with the service given. Thank you so much.
Good day and thank you for the lovely review. We are happy to hear your comments about the home and if there is ever anything we can further support with, let us know. Have a lovely day!
My mother has been a resident here for some time and I am delighted with the care she has received. Every member of staff (from management to cleaning) has been helpful, polite and a pleasure to talk to. Most importantly, my mother is treated with respect, dignity, affection and understanding. I know she is always safe and treated in a caring and professional manner.
Your mother is an amazing woman and we are thankful to have her with us.
Have a lovely day!
The family are very happy with the staff. Thank you to all the staff for the help and care for my mum. I can sleep better knowing Mum is in good hands.

The Home Manager runs all aspects of the home and ensures that the home provides a high standard of care. While each Manager brings their own flair to the role, they all have some qualities in common, especially their leadership and organisational skills. The role is very varied, involving plenty of resident interaction alongside the more administrative work to keep the home running smoothly. Our Managers typically hold, or are working towards, a relevant qualification and have proven experience in caring for older people.

The Deputy Manager shares responsibility with the Home Manager for running the home. Deputy Managers will each bring their own skill set to the home, some offering more assistance with the business side of things, while others focus largely on care. However, whether they look at it from a business or care perspective, the focus of the Deputy is always to ensure that their home is offering the very best quality of life for our residents. Experienced and either holding or working towards their qualifications, Deputy Managers are driven to provide the best of everything for their residents.

The Chef Manager organises every aspect of the catering operation and provides a safe, nutritious, quality service to our residents using freshly produced food. With a hands-on role, leading a team, they provide a quality catering service and help create a warm and friendly atmosphere for our residents. Working with our residents they help to create menus to meet their needs and suit their tastes.

"I enjoy working with the residents, ensuring they have a homely environment to live in. I also enjoy working on such a good team." – Pat Silah
Keeping the team of Housekeepers running as it should is the Housekeeping Manager. Supervising and organising their teams is just part of it as these Managers work alongside them to keep the home clean and inviting. The comfort of residents is the most important thing to our Housekeeping Managers which is why they work so hard to create an environment in which residents can’t help but feel at home. Multi-tasking and communication skills are some of the most important of the Housekeeping Manager’s qualities as they and their team create a home where resident’s dignity is never compromised and independence is always encouraged. Our Housekeeping Managers ensure that all areas of our home are safe, clean, well maintained and presented in a way to create a warm and homely environment. They have an important role in maintaining our infection, prevention and control standards to make sure our residents stay well.
