Visited many times and the majority of the staff made us welcome. There are times when staff have been very thin on the ground. Some staff do not seem to interact with residents very much. Every time I visited I have been made to feel uncomfortable by one resident continuously calling for help.

My nan is very well looked after here. All staff, from senior tea to housekeeping are attentive, friendly and supportive to myself and my nan.
My nan feels safe here and that's what is most important.

Her care needs are met, they go above and beyond to help both families and residents.

Friendly, reassuring staff. Rooms are adequate, although our room is on the small side - no room for an easy chair.
Staffing - needs at least one extra member on the floor when staff on breaks.
Security is excellent, with staff "buzzing" visitors in and out.
Staff do all they can to maintain residents' safety, even when residents are insistent on walking unaided when not steady on their feet!

Entertainment and activity team - first-class! Everyone is included - family and residents of mixed ability!

Not skilled at dementia care and many errors in medications, food, and basic personal care. No adequate social or emotional care. I wholeheartedly do not recommend this home for residents with dementia or who lack mental competency to advocate for themselves.

Good day and sorry to hear your experience has not been as well as anticipated.
If you can, please meet with the new Home manager, she would be more than happy to address the concerns you have raised. As a company, we take these matters very seriously and would appreciate the opportunity to resolve as soon as possible.

Thank you and see you soon.

My aunt was in Providence Court in June/July. The home is very well laid out, with a reception area in the middle of the two wings. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and well laid out. The gardens are an added bonus. All in all, a lovely place.

I am the Power of Attorney and friend of a resident of five months. The help when urgent respite care was needed was an immense support to me and my friend. Management has been great in keeping me informed and stress-free.

I am personally grateful for the help during difficult circumstances. The staff are all really friendly.

We, as a family, are very happy with the care our mum receives. She is happy when we visit, which is two-three times a week. Staff are very nice. Mum's room is clean and tidy and pleasant to be in. It is a lovely home, inside and the grounds outside are lovely. Facilities are good, with hairdressers and Mum has her nails done! She's happy with her meals and the dinner smells lovely if I visit in the afternoon! Our mum is content and that's good.

Our mother has been in Quantum Care Ltd for three years first at another setting then at Providence Court.
The care and friendliness of the staff has helped us during this sad period.

Our father joined our mum there for end of life care, the manager and staff were a tremendous help even through Covid rules and gave us all compassion, love and care to help us. It has been like our extended family.

The first week was difficult because of shielding but they found me a TV. I didn't understand why I should be just in one room. The second week was better being able to be out. Staff were friendly and supportive.

Reply from Deborah Yadev, Marketing Manager at Providence Court

Good day, and thank you for taking the time to send us a review. Apologies that the first week of your stay was not as comfortable as it should have been. We have been following the Government guide for care homes and it has been more difficult on some residents than others. There is hope that the worse of the pandemic is over and we can resume to a level of normalcy.

My mother has now been in Providence Court for some five months. She is 98 years old and was in poor health following a lengthy hospital stay last summer. Although there seems to be nothing anyone can do to restore her mobility, her general health and comfort have improved greatly since she moved in and she seems content to stay there. Staff have been supportive and communicative despite the extra workload due to Covid and have put themselves out to help her (and us). Lots of appropriate activities organised too.

Thank you Jo. It has been such a good journey, right from when mum was admitted to us from hospital, as you pointed out, together with the progress she has also made during the past few months.
