Hello, my name is Kelly and I am the Manager at Magnolia House, I have been working here since December 2023. I thoroughly enjoy my role and being part of the dedicated Magnolia family. I have always worked in the Health and Social care sector, I initially started in the care sector 27 years ago. I am passionate about working with the elderly and ensuring that they have a high-quality of care that they deserve. My role is to ensure the day-to-day running of the home is as smooth as possible by supporting the team and ensuring that our residents are being provided with person-centred care.
I work alongside a variety of health care professionals to ensure that our residents are well supported I have also built strong relationships with them.
I pride myself on the relationships formed with staff, residents and their families. I am very proud to be a part of such a wonderful team. My journey in care began as a clinician in Kenya, my ascent at Magnolia has been nothing short of inspiring. Joining Magnolia House in October 2022 as a carer, my innate empathy and exceptional skills quickly shone, leading to my advancement to Senior Carer. Within just over a year, I was guiding our team with expertise and warmth as Head of Care. Now, as a proud Deputy Manager since April 2025, I continue to champion outstanding, heart-centred care, ensuring every resident thrives.
