Your father's happiness is very important to the team, and when I first met him before he moved into Bradfield he was feeling lonely which was quite upsetting for all, including yourself and the wider family. It took a few weeks, but since then we have seen a remarkable change in your father's happiness, confidence and general well-being.
He gets involved in all of the activities on offer and our female residents all love having 'a proper man about the house'!
Staff have commented, and I would agree he is what encompasses a perfect dad or grandad.
Thank you for entrusting your dad into our care, it's an absolute pleasure to have him with us.
Your comments are valued and appreciated and we feel that we are able to offer a distinct advantage over other care providers in the area being close by.
Possibly, you may not have seen the monthly activities list - we have two activities planned each day and recently, we have had a host of outside visitors to the home, including a singer with his guitar, a musical entertainer, arts and crafts sessions, music for health, Holy Communion with the church, PT sessions and not forgetting our outdoor summer garden party to name a few!
It was a shame that your dad didn't want to go on the last few minibus trips out however this was either due to his own decision or ill health. He has enjoyed an ice cream on this week's trip out to the gardens.
We were also happy to assist with your request for a room change for your dad. He now enjoys his south-facing ground floor room with access to the patio and garden.
Many thanks.
It's a pleasure to have your mother with us at Bradfield, she has certainly flourished during her time so far with us. It's a pleasure to watch her get so much enjoyment from the activities we have every day and always with her cheeky smile! Thank you for your involvement as well, it really is a team effort.
Your review is most welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for the kind words about our care home.
Thank you for your lovely review of Bradfield, it's much appreciated.
Its a pleasure to have your mother with us, she has certainly embraced everything we have to offer at Bradfield. Thank you for noticing our activities programme which we have invested heavily in the last 12 months. Our wellbeing coordinator has been a big help in getting us back on track post-covid measures. Your mother is very lucky to have such a supportive family such as yourselves.
Thank you for taking the time to review our service. It means a lot.
We are very pleased that you are happy with the high standards we strive towards at Bradfield.
In the short time your mother has been with us she has made many friends in the home, and your trips out really give a variety to her weeks - your mum is a busy lady! We try to be accommodating as possible with admissions and aim to make the process as safe as possible so we are happy that we achieved this for you. Her new, larger room is looking very homely with the furniture you brought in from her home. We have a daily activities schedule which we try to vary as much as possible given the restrictions we have in place. Your mum's favourite is definitely the trips out in the minibus.
Your review of Bradfield is much appreciated. It makes us proud to hear your positive feedback about your fathers care and support whilst he has been with us, and your comments are always passed onto the team.
Whilst he is, unfortunately, unable to join in with the other residents, we understand and respect his reasons. Its been a pleasure to get to know your father who we have discovered enjoys real ale and red wine and is so appreciative when we have given him a few bottles as a gift its become a regular routine that we now do, as he likes to try different types and varieties. Newcastle Brown Ale and Merlot will always be his favourite!
He is funny and has a great sense of humour. Combined with his kind and polite nature encompasses what we admire in any dad or grandad.
Your daily newspaper deliveries are much appreciated by him, which also shows how much you love and care for your father, too.
Your comments are as lovely as your mother! It's a pleasure to have such an endearing, appreciative person in our home who always brings an air of joyfulness and positivity to others.
We thank you on behalf of all the team for allowing us the opportunity to care for her and sharing her with us. We all feel very lucky to have known her.
Thankyou for taking the time out to complete a review Les, it is much appreciated as it certainly helps other families when considering a care home placement.
It was a pleasure to care for your mother, and I will miss sharing the East Kent Mercury local newspaper with her which had become a weekly ritual!
Your mother had a very caring and supportive family network, local and the relatives from Yorkshire who would travel down at regular intervals.
Please do keep in touch, it seems we have known each other for a long time now especially from when your aunt was also in the home some years ago.
Times have been difficult for all care homes lately, as a team it makes us sad that most visits were distanced, virtual and over the phone, however, relieved that her passing was of natural causes and peaceful, and not due to the effects of this dreaded Covid virus which has affected too many of our elderly generation in the UK to date.
Thank you again, take care and stay safe.
Thank you very much for your review, it's an absolute pleasure and privilege to care for your father. During such a difficult time for all care homes, your review has certainly lifted our spirits!
We look forward to a 'proper' celebration when the time is appropriate.
We all look forward to seeing you soon.
Take care.
