The Grange is a residential Care Home and is located in Folkestone, within a very attractive and quaint area. It is close to the Town Centre and nearby amenities includes the famous Leas, a raised cliff top promenade and Folkestone Harbour.

The Grange is a large two floor Tudor style building, with plenty of character and is set in its own grounds with the benefit of lovely gardens to the front, side and rear.

They promote independence at all times, giving assistance as required to maintain a good standard of living, with the emphasis on dignity, integrity and respect providing a homely and caring environment giving each resident the same choices that each of us have over daily lives.

Employees include adequately trained staff over the 24 hour period, teaching staff to understand the physical and psychological needs of residents so they can care for them in a loving, caring and professional way.

The Grange has 28 bedrooms, the majority of which having en-suite facilities. Five of the rooms have a private decking facility onto the home gardens. All communal areas and bedrooms are comfortable and decorated to the highest standards.

The care that my mother in law has received at The Grange is excellent. Every member of the team is friendly and welcoming to us and go the extra mile to make sure that my mum in law is happy and settled.
The Grange has a lovely atmosphere and the residents all seem happy and extremely well cared
for.
A particular strength is the attention the team pay to each individuals needs. My mother in law has dietary requirements which the team go out of their way to not just accommodate but exceed.
The personal care is timely and thorough and I feel very confident that my mum in law is in safe, knowledgable hands.
It is always possible to speak to a member of staff in person or on the phone.

First impressions as soon as your walk up the path to the care home that the garden is well maintained. Being met at the door, all the staff have been very friendly and helpful. You always see the staff being attentive to the residents. Mum loves the food and wide selection on offer to eat.

My mother has been in this care home since May 2025 and I have been very impressed with the cleanliness, the organisation and the layout/facilities. Her room is compact with tv and day chairs, and also its own toilet and sink ensuite. I have observed the caring way the staff help people and my mother
has told me herself how well they look after her. The food looks good and there is a choice of dishes at every meal. I observed live music on regular occasions and there are facilities to sit and read, do puzzles or just relax. I am very glad my mother is there!

My mum has now been a resident at The Grange for 6 years. In that time she has received amazing care, the staff are always polite and friendly and keep me well informed on how mum is doing.
Whenever she has needed medical attention they are quick to respond and always phone me immediately to let me
know.
The home is well run and every member of staff provides mum with the level of care I would expect and they all genuinely seem to care about my mum.
I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who finds themselves in the position I was in 6 years ago.

My aunt sadly passed away in March 2025. She had been a resident at The Grange since early December 2023 following a fall at home when she broke her hip. My husband and I and family visited her regularly. I am pleased to say she was very happy and well looked after by all staff at The Grange. In my
estimation The Grange is extremely well managed where key issues are regularly addressed to make the residents' stay a happy and comfortable experience. At all times when we visited her we were met with a warm welcome by all staff. Thank you so much! In fact we believe the excellent care she received extended her life expectancy.

My mother died at The Grange on 20 April. Throughout her stay there we were pleased with the care she was given. In the days before her death, a senior carer did her paperwork in Mum's room to make sure she was not alone when the inevitable happened. So kind and thoughtful. We were always kept informed
of any problems. The manager and senior carers were all excellent.

I have visited one resident during the eight years he has resided there. Yesterday I visited another (temporary for two weeks) resident who I have known for 35 years. Both residents are happy and feel well cared for physically and emotionally. I have visited several social functions: recently the garden
party which was full up - a high class of presentations re food etc. and entertainment. Superbly well organised - a lovely experience for guests and residents.

As soon as you walk into the home you're welcomed by friendly, caring staff and a happy atmosphere. With my autine, they know when she has had enough of something and would take her out of whatever she was doing before it upset her. The staff and managers are so friendly and helpful. I have always found the staff caring and kind. Nothing is too much trouble. They must be happy working there as it's always the same ladies. They take time to discuss how my friend is coping and if he needs anything for me to bring in. The house is happy, clean and peaceful. It never smells. I have

I have been visiting my mother at The Grange for nearly five years. The staff are always welcoming and I have seen that the whole team is dedicated to providing the best care they can. They are happy in their work. I often see carers spending time and giving extended 'one-to-one' support when a resident
is in need of some extra help. Although the building was already maintained to a good standard, I have seen a programme of continuous improvement taking place with things like new carpets, furniture and windows being fitted. The building is always warm. Thank you for all of your good work.

My friend was moved into The Grange because she could no longer live by or take care of herself. She was finding it harder and harder to get through each day. Even though this was the case, I was really worried that she would find it difficult to adjust, after having lived on her own. However, nothing
could be further from the truth! She is so happy! The staff at The Grange were so welcoming and went out of their way to make her feel comfortable and to help her feel at ease. She has settled in so well and I am so relieved! I have discussed this with her and we both agree that this was absolutely the right decision to make! When I visit her, she is always around other residents, which is in itself so lovely to see, as she was quite lonely whilst living on her own. The staff are just so amazing! They go over and above their duties and take that extra personal care of the residents. I would certainly recommend The Grange and will never be able to thank them all enough!
