Our mum went to Lavenders for respite, so she could enjoy being looked after 100% and to enable our family to have a holiday without worrying as much. All of the staff were welcoming, attentive and treated her with care , kindness and dignity. They made her feel at home and encluded her in activities but equally respected her privacy when she wanted it. The food was very good, with a nice selection of meals ,drinks & snacks all day long. Everybody, including residents were friendly. From a family point of view we had no major concerns. And if we had any small concerns they were listened to and adjustments made. Lavenders made an experience my mum was dreading into something she enjoyed and now will have no fears if she decides to go back. Thank you .

My mum came to Lavenders on a 2 week respite to see if she wanted to be in a care home in the first place. She was very worried and so were we. We didn't need to worry, because from the first week we could see a change in mum, she was very happy again after being on her own for nearly 3 years at home. She was constantly saying what a nice place Lavenders was and how caring all the staff were to her. She made her mind up to stay full time very quickly and her anxiety and worrying about falling at home seemed to go away. Mum enjoys all the things that the staff have planned during the day and she likes to join in. All of the staff are really friendly to her family and always say hello when we turn up. All in all we couldn't have found a nicer place for her to live safely and in the knowledge we know she is being looked after very well.

We are very happy with the care our mother receives at Lavenders. Staff are very caring of the residents and friendly to visitors. Food is of an excellent standard with a wide variety of menus. The building and grounds are kept clean and tidy. Complaints and queries are dealt with swiftly. There are a variety of activities for the residents to take part in on a daily basis.

Lavenders is in a beautiful setting with well kept gardens. Staff are super and caring. Plenty of activities for residents to enjoy. Food is good with a varied menu. I would certainly recommend Lavenders to others.
