Nestled in peaceful woodland on the outskirts of Pembury village near Tunbridge Wells, Hazeldene House is a purpose-built care home offering a comforting blend of skilled nursing, care experience, and community. Designed with dignity and wellbeing in mind, the home features spacious one-bedroom care suites, each with its own en-suite bathroom and kitchenette - creating a true “home for life”. Hazeldene House specializes in dementia care (mild to advanced), respite stays, nursing care to palliative and end-of-life support. The team at Hazeldene House embraces a philosophy of Relationship Centred Care™, placing each resident at the heart of a supportive network of family, friends, carers, and healthcare professionals.

At Hazeldene House, mealtimes are more than just nourishment - they're moments of comfort and connection, where residents are brought together to enjoy old favourites and hearty British classics. The in house chef crafts a 4 weekly rotational menu every Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer, utilising fresh seasonal ingredients and catering to key dietary requirements.

From lounge-based activity programs to those adhered to the individual needs of the resident, Hazeldene aims to provide something for everyone. With an entertainment schedule comprising of animal therapy, exercises classes through to singers and musicians of varying genres.

There is a dedicated hair salon which offers residents the opportunity to enjoy hairdressing and barber services in a relaxed, friendly environment, right within the comfort of their home. Hazeldene offers the convenience of onsite maintenance, a dedicated laundry team, cleaners and gardener - ensuring every effort is made to maintain a well-kept, living environment all year round.

My mother and father became residents in 2016 - my mother needed nursing care due to cancer and also had Alzheimer's and my father had had Alzheimer's for about seven years. The care, and indeed love, that they were given was remarkable. I have never seen anything similar in any other care home where
I have visited. I have never had a moment's worry about their well being and, since my mother died in 2016, my father has been so well loved and cared for I could not have wished for more. Although there have been difficulties involved in the running of the home over the last few months, this has never affected the wonderful care given.

My brother has been in Hazeldene House for the past year. I could not find a better home for him to be in. The staff are so kind, friendly and caring not only to residents but family members also.
Any problems that have arisen have been dealt with promptly.
I cannot praise this home enough.

Very nice helpful staff, very nice and clean and very nice to be asked if we would like a cup of tea and it was very nicely served with biscuits and serviettes.


This was a new home for us to visit and was very impressed.


One problem, my father had called in this morning re his sister left his

name and phone number and no one returned the call.

My recently deceased mother spent the final 3 years of her life at Hazeldene House. She was so happy here; calm, relaxed, chatty, smiley, often making others laugh along with her.
This was the best 3 years I had with mum. She had a difficult and hard life and our relationship wasn’t the best. But
her time at Hazeldene changed all this and we grew close and loving. For this, I will always be grateful.
Thank you for the quality care, love, patience, and fun you gave my mum. She really did end up in the best place possible.

I wish I could rate this nursing home 10 out of 5.
My brother-in-law was nursed here for three weeks and the care and dedication of the staff is well over and beyond! They not only cared for and nursed my brother-in-law but offered support and care to the whole family
I can not recommend Hazeldene
House highly enough - every small detail has been covered - a big thank you all.
