Madley Park House was opened in 2005 and offers residential, early-stage dementia and respite care for up to 60 residents. It is situated in a peaceful location on the outskirts of Witney and is close to local shops and services.

Spacious bedrooms with en suite facilities and comfortable lounges look out onto landscaped gardens whilst amenities within the home include a hair salon and shop.

Activity coordinators ensure that there is a varied programme of events and outings to suit all tastes and residents are encouraged to continue hobbies they have enjoyed during their life, and also try out something new if they so wish.

Strong links with the local community mean that there is always someone new coming into the home to ensure residents get the best of out every day.

The team are on hand 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide residents with support and encourage them to continue to be as independent as they can be.

Your fees cover several areas while in their care.
These services are: Personal care, accommodation,
utilities, use of communal areas, meals, drinks and
snacks, laundry (excluding dry cleaning),
housekeeping, maintenance and activities run by the
home.


Services NOT included in price are: dentistry, chiropody,
physiotherapy, occupational therapy, opticians, hairdressing,
medications, toiletries, clothing, newspapers/magazines.
During your stay, you may need to purchase additional goods
and services. If they are able to provide such goods and
services, they will tell you how much these goods and services
will cost and they expect that you will pay for these goods and
services at the time you request them.
They can accompany loved ones to private appointments,
however the fee attached to this is £21 per hour. Where private taxi
services are used for transportation to appointments the cost should
be paid for by yourself.

Mum has been here since July 2019. She has improved very much since being in the home due to the excellent care. She has regular meals, regular medication and other care all of which had become difficult for her at home. She has gained weight while she is there, something we did not manage to do
for her.
The home has everything a resident and visitor needs. The staff are all lovely and you can tell they care about the residents. Having company on tap too lifts Mum's spirits and she has made friends easily.

My Mum has been in the care of the home since July, she has noticeably improved in all aspects of her health and wellbeing since then. The care home is modern and up to date, it has great facilities to accommodate all of its residents. The staff are professional, courteous and very friendly which makes
my Mums stay second to none. Food and hygiene is of the highest standard, some staff have been focused and taken a personal crusade achieving much needed weight gain in a very short space of time for my Mum. They run activities constantly to keep residents busy during the daytime and evenings. Recently my Mum has taken part in the various day trips organised, particularly enjoying a pub lunch which gave her a great sense of independence as for once the family was not involved - brilliant. The administration of her care is communicated efficiently and accurately regarding her stay, hospital appointments and so on. The resident cats a loving touch and great companionship too.

On arrival, staff very friendly, the room was ready and clean. All carers helpful, in all very satisfied with everything. My mother was extremely happy. Food was excellent. No problems what so ever.

My mum was welcomed to Madley Park at short notice after an emergency evening referral via social services. On visiting the next day I was immediately impressed with the presentation of the facilities. It is light, modern and airy, rooms are a good size and it's clean. More importantly, I soon had the
impression staff had the welfare of clients at heart and they cared. I also was supported by all staff and was given valuable advice and guidance by senior staff. Although mum didn't spend long at Madley Park, her stay was as good as I could have expected and more.

Mum has been at Madley Park House 5 months, she has settled much better than we expected.
The home is warm and welcoming, the menu for dinner and tea has a good variety of food. They provide a good range of activities for the residents and trips out.

We came to visit a very dear friend today 25/2/2019 not really knowing what to expect.
We were soon reassured by the reception lady who was very helpful and knew exactly where our friend was.
The whole place is extremely clean and tidy and there was ample room for us to have a chat with our friend.
We
were offered a cup of tea by the lovely lady in the canteen area.
Although our friend was a little confused it was pleasing for us to know she is being so well and thoughtfully cared for.
It will be a pleasure to visit again.

My mother has been at Madley House for almost a year, first in respite and then as a resident. She is currently 93, mobile but with some dementia. We live locally and visit regularly at different times of day. We are very pleased that my mother is extremely well cared for. Her room is delightful and
always very clean, and she has a stimulating range of activities to attend each day. My mother speaks highly of the kind staff and good food. Most importantly Madley House seems like a home from home for her. It has a warm and friendly atmosphere, all the staff really care for the residents and the new little kittens are a delight.

I have been extremely happy with the care provided for my mother whilst at Madley. All staff were professional, caring, respectful, kind and took time to give Mum personalised care.
She was very happy there and never had a bad word to say about her care.
Sadly she recently passed away peacefully in
her room and the compassion and support given to me was very much appreciated and helped at an extremely sad time.

I visit most weeks and find all the staff so friendly. 'What a great place this is'. My friend I visit loves it. We have been friends for 53 years. Every time I visit she always tells me how great the staff are.
The lady in a red overall always has a big smile and is so willing to help, God bless her.

Nan has been at Madley for the past 3 months, she was previously at home without carers but with some cognitive impairment and short-term memory loss, she was becoming very anxious particularly at night. It was my Nan's choice to find a placement and something which she wanted to do quickly. From the
first visit to Madley, we were shown around the home with care and compassion, they were so helpful and thoughtful to how my nan was feeling and also us as a family.
I can't thank them enough as my nan is now happy, content, laughing, eating well, socialising and above all her anxiousness has gone.
The home is very welcoming. She is looked after with compassion and dignity. All staff are extremely approachable and helpful. All staff show a real interest in my Nan and make her feel at home. You have all made what was a very stressful time for us, a very positive experience and we can all relax now knowing Nan is in safe hands and being cared for so well. Thank you, you all do an amazing job.

My Father resided in Madley Park for 6 years and my Mother for 3 years (2015-2018). My Mother posed behavioural challenges which the staff took in their stride. On my Mother's death, my Father was encouraged to come out of himself, though this march a decline in his mental state. During this decline,
he was treated with compassion and dignity from all the staff. In his last couple of weeks, he was helped to his end with the greatest of loving care, again from all staff. I cannot thank the carers enough for taking pains to give him a dignified and peaceful end.

Nicola

Nicola Rowlands

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2005

Niki started working for the Trust in 2005. She began as a Senior Care Leader and in 2006, Niki was offered the position of NVQ Assessor within the Leaning and development team. As the role evolved, Niki became a Learning and Development Advisor, delivering training to our teams in Gloucestershire, and eventually went on to lead this team.


In 2017, Niki went back to an operational role as Deputy Manager at The Lakes Care Centre. Following a break, Niki returned to the Trust as a Scheme Manager for Extra Care Housing on a short-term contract. She was delighted to accept a permanent position as the Registered Manager at Madley Park in October 2021.


In her spare, time Niki likes to spend time with her family in the lovely village she lives in. She can often be found in her kitchen cooking enough to feed the street!

Jenna

Jenna Kendall

Job Title: Activity Coordinator Joined: 2025

Jenna joined the Trust in March 2025 as a part-time Activity Coordinator at Madley Park House. She previously worked in midwifery at local hospitals, where she also completed her Care Certificate.


Seeking a new challenge, Jenna was drawn to a role where she could use her transferable skills to make a difference in the lives of others.


Jenna lives locally and has a strong connection with the community. She is looking forward to raising the profile of Madley Park and creating opportunities to bring the wider community into the home.


Outside of work, Jenna enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and has a passion for cooking.
