My dad's best friend is a resident in the home, and my mum was concerned about him being admitted. Although an older home, all staff were friendly and approachable. We sat with the resident for drink, he had his breakfast as well. Communication with all staff was knowledgeable. My mum and I left knowing he is in the right place, being cared for.

From moving in 13 months ago until his recent death my husband has been cared for in the most amazing way by every single member of staff with loving courtesy and encouragement to have as fulfilling a life as possible. The whole family have also benefitted enormously by being involved with many activities provided, and the same level of care shown to us. It is a wonderful home and I highly recommend it.

Mum lived at Marston Court for 4 months and, from when we looked around until she left, she and all the family were treated with kindness. Support has been both caring and professional and we were encouraged to bring in personal belongings and furniture to ensure Mum's room reflected her personality. This made the transition of moving into a home easier for her. Every member of staff was friendly and never too busy to listen. Activities, both those organised by the activities team, and the one to one care and chats by other staff, ensured that there was a real sense of well being. Mum only lived at Marston Court for a short time but was supported to settle in quickly and feel 'at home'.

The home is spotlessly clean, food is well presented and tasty and smiles, from every member of staff, plentiful. A 'homely home' and one I recommend.

My father is staying in Marston Court for respite care while his wife is in hospital. I found the whole process from the in-home assessment by the management team, to getting Dad settled in, was professional, personable and stress-free. During Dad's stay, we have found the whole team extremely caring and approachable. Dad has settled in very well, and I attribute this to the professionalism of the care team.

Our uncle who has dementia is new to the Marston Court care home and his needs are many, but we could not have found the staff to be any more helpful. All the staff we have spoken to so far have been so kind to him and very professional too. They had everything sorted for him in record times and he is settling in so well.

The facilities are great and the property is well maintained.

My mum has been in Marston Court since January 2025. I recently retired and me and my wife were working in a new care home which opened in 2024. My only criticism of Marston Court is the residents rooms are not ensuite. However Martson Court has a very good staff to residents ratio. The whole of staff are very caring/considerate/helpful and have a true passion for there work. They make me feel that my mother is cared for with the upmost respect. Well done!

I would highly recommend this lovely care home. The staff from management, carers, activity staff, cooks, cleaners etc. are all so friendly, it's very heart warming to see how much the residents are centre of importance to them. They encourage them to enjoy and participate with daily activities. The atmosphere is amazing and lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves. All staff are a credit to the running of such a loving and caring place. Mum loved her last 5 1/2 months there. We will miss them because they became like family.

I'm pleased my mother-in-law has settled into the home well, the staff are excellent towards my mother care, (dementia). As a family, we are very happy to know my mother-in-law is secure and her needs are being attented too. The ratio of staff to residents is far better than the private care home I work in as a receptionist/Hairdresser.

We have been incredibly impressed with the care that my dad has received but also with the patient and understanding way that all the staff have helped us to settle dad in the Marston care home. From the first time my mum and i walked in Marston court, we was welcomed with smiles and very friendly staff and residents. The care home is immaculate, bright and such a happy place for my mum to stay. She's only been there 3 weeks and is a completely different person. Happy, more healthy. Which is so nice to see,as she has dementia and was inclining at home on her own. Everything in Marston court, down to the staff, cleanliness the food. Entertainment i could go on and on. Absolutely fantastic place for any elderly person needing to reside in a care home. I really can't praise it enough.

A very elderly neighbour/friend who we have known for many years, approximately 40 years, was recently admitted to Marston Court, following a fall and an admission to hospital.
Having visited Marston Court on many occasions prior to and since her admission, we have always been very impressed with the loving, thoughtful, kind and outstanding care.
The staff are very patient and do their very best to listen, observe and meet the needs of the residents.
There is a lovely open space where a variety of activities take place, including a gentle exercise class for those who wish to attend, also musical activities etc.
Last year we attended a very special live musical event in the garden, which included a display of owls.

Heartfelt thanks to all of you for your wonderful care.

Marston Court is a well-organised care home with caring staff that do their utmost to make residents feel at home. My elderly friend has just moved in and the staff have been immediately attentive to her needs enabling recovery after a hospital stay. It is a relaxed environment with light rooms and plenty of social spaces. Residents are split into 4 households each with their own lounge-dining room that creates a more homely feel. Residents also have access to the wide range of activities available in the day centre space. Music, exercise sessions and social activities are available daily. I am very impressed with the organisation around medical needs which has lifted a burden from family and carers making it easier for us to spend relaxed time with my friend. There are always plenty of staff on duty visibly responding to the residents' needs. It is easy to communicate with the manager and deputy manager who have been present and helpful even over the Christmas holiday period.

Mum has been a resident at Marston Court for 3 years now and although some staff have moved on in that time generally I have found standards of care to be excellent. Mum is well looked after emotionally and physically, staff chat with Mum and to the family and anything we ask for is usually provided and any concerns are addressed. What an incredible place.
I arrived under strained circumstances with a friend who was not sure that he really wanted to be there. Within 2 minutes of him getting out of the car a member of staff appeared (on her break) and started a conversation. Within 30 minutes my friend was walking in with respectful and kind staff all around him. Not one member of staff judged us. They showed nothing but love and understanding. The atmosphere inside was one of fun, laughter and enjoyment. Everyone around us seemed to be happy and looked at ease.
I appeared later that night and wondered if I would see another side. I needn't have worried. Staff and clients were pottering around and the whole place seemed calm and content.

When I called the care home the same bubbly atmosphere came down the line - the lovely lady that answered knew all about the gentleman I was calling about. I was given an update without her having to go and ask anyone else. I love this place and believe that my friend is now happy and safe.
