My mother has been at The Beeches Care Home for nearly three years and the care received is exemplary. My mother-in-law and a family friend were also at the home. I thoroughly recommend this home - rooms, facilities, staff etc. are second to none.

My sister moved to The Beeches about three months ago and I have visited her three times. She previously resisted moving to a home but, after a brief settling-in period, seems very happy. This has been helped greatly by finding a best friend which contrasts with her years of living on her own. Personal hygiene has greatly improved and she has a regular diet. The Beeches is kept clean and tidy and the staff all seem to know and care for the residents.

Very friendly home, always seem willing to help. I'm sure more staff would be appreciated. Some facilities could do with an upgrade, especially bathrooms. Overall happy. Residents are treated with respect and dignity and staff make them as comfortable as possible.

A year ago, my sister felt she could no longer cope with living alone. While looking for a suitable care home for her, I visited The Beeches and was very impressed by the warm, kind and friendliness of all the staff and the whole set-up. Now a year on, I am pleased to say she is happily settled, and should she require assistance at any time, it is always kindly and willingly given.

What else can I say? It's just perfect - the home, the carers and also the food. Also, the lovely garden is kept so nice. My room is just for me and my friends. I enjoy Barny, my darling, he is also welcome to meet all the ladies and my friend. The quiz on Thursday afternoon is great fun. Disco once a week. Dancing and jitterbug once a week. Many thanks to the laundry ladies.

Dad had been needing more care at home and with a shortage of live-in carers, we reluctantly had to look around for a home for respite at very short notice. The Beeches were wonderful - accommodated him literally within a couple of days, and everything has exceeded our expectations. The staff really care about their residents as individuals and finding out that he has enjoyed daily exercise for many years, they have built this in for him and he is taken for a walk almost every day. He actually hasn't looked back and without prompting, when I phone, he tells me how well he is being looked after. He is enjoying the social side of mixing with other residents and the food and is happy and cheerful. When we visited, we found all the staff friendly and caring and all took the time to talk to us. Their kindness when they spoke with Dad was evident, and everywhere was very clean. I feel very reassured that he is being so well looked after. We are very fortunate to have found The Beeches.

Mum came for respite but has decided to stay. The care is excellent and the activities, fun and banter make The Beeches Care Home such a happy place she can call home. Mum's mental health and mobility have much improved. She has a lovely room and view and the communal areas are spacious, modern and homely.

The Beeches took Mum in as she was starting to deteriorate considerably due to Alzheimer's disease and also because her main carer, my father had a severe stroke. The Beeches took Mum in and although it took a week or two to settle in well, we noticed a big improvement in her well being and mobility, overall. The home and its carers went the extra mile with our mother, (even learning some Italian to help communicate with her as she had resorted to her first language due to her Alzheimers). She was well looked after, well-fed, is more mobile now, joining in with the activities and seems much more relaxed and content now. Thank you to all the staff that made this happen, the manager who took her in, all the committed carers, the reception staff that would go upstairs to hand the phone over to her when I called, all other carers and staff that helped care for her and help run the home. Thank you! I highly recommend this care home!

My husband has been with you for almost one month now and during this time, he has been cared for with kindness and attention. I have been pleasantly surprised about all the staff being so supportive of him and me. They give me a daily report on how he has been and also they ask me about him, showing attention and understanding. I am very impressed.
