They go above and beyond expectations. They are extremely friendly and caring not only to the residents but to family members upon visiting. They put up some personal items in my nan's room to make her feel more comfortable and homely. They provide good meals that the residents enjoy and keep them happy
at all times. Overall I am very happy with the service and cannot thank the staff enough.

From the first time we walked into Linden House about 6 years ago, we could feel the kind and caring atmosphere and we are so pleased dad was able to move in and has been so lovingly looked after ever since. The staff are amazing - always happy and chatty and nothing is too much trouble. During lockdown
they have enabled us to see dad on video calls, speak to him on the phone and have sent us photos and updates on the activities at the home. We were recently able to visit dad in person following all the necessary safety measures and the staff were so helpful and kind. I wholeheartedly recommend Linden House and in fact, a previous neighbour also lives there now on my recommendation and is very happy too.

I wanted to express my sincere gratitude to all the staff at Linden House. During this unprecedented time, myself and my son have been able to video call our nan and great nanna whenever we have wanted to. The staff here are so accommodating and always have been for the past 18 months.
Thank you Linden
House for taking care of our precious nan.

I visited my uncle who is quite different to the rest of the home in terms of religious needs and attention needed for his care. The carers were wonderful and understood exactly what he needed to keep his spirit high. I absolutely loved 'the retreat' where I was told my uncle quite often sat to pray
and read his holy books. I have seen a massive positive change in him and his openness to talk to people including myself who had not visited him in some time.
All I can say is I am so grateful for the care, attention and support given by the whole team and I would definitely recommend this home to anyone. As my previous profession was in care quality monitoring I can see outstanding quality of care and Linden House is just that. Well done to you all!

I have been a carer for 15 years so I understand exactly what makes a good carer. I have a client in Linden House who I visit once a week. I cannot express just how fabulous all the staff are. I've been visiting for over a year and every time I'm greeted with wonderful positive vibes. My client can
be difficult at times but has always been given patient and caring help. I would highly recommend Linden House.

My friend has been at this wonderful home while her daughter had a much-needed break. I had the pleasure of visiting her every day for a week.
On each occasion I found the staff to be very welcoming, happy and extremely attentive to all the patients and especially my friend.
Whatever she asked for
was never too much trouble and she thoroughly enjoyed her pamper day, helping in the garden and attending the bbq.
Thank you to all the staff, you do an amazing job and I hope I have the pleasure of visiting you again.

The staff at Linden House are very professional and caring and I feel Mother is getting the support and positivity she requires. The management is excellent and I am impressed by the variety of activities available. The two social events I attended were very good. I feel my mother is valued and her

Linden House is a fantastic care home facility. The staff and management are incredibly patient, kind and compassionate. We have witnessed and experienced nothing but this from them and are very happy with their treatment of my father, who can often be difficult to reason with. The building has also
recently undergone an impressive renovation, and the interior is very bright and uplifting.

I visited my friend’s mother at Linden House this January and cannot recommend the staff and care she has received highly enough. Everyone is very helpful, attentive and always smiling with a professional and caring attitude towards the residents. During my visit my friends mum was served with tea,
cake and biscuits, I was offered the same too.
She has really settled into the environment of Linden House and talked about how good the food and entertainment was since she arrived.

After visiting a number of homes in my area because I wanted to find the right care and the right place for my mother to stay. I met with the manager and from the moment I met her I knew I had found the right place. It was homely. The home itself is warm, tidy, clean and smart. Her room is lovely and
very homely and we have been encouraged to make it mums personal space. There are lots of weekly activities planned. The residents are included in decisions such as meals and activities but also have their own independence and encouraged to make their own decisions. I have been with mum at meal times, the food looks delicious. Whenever I visit, I am always offered a cup of tea and made to feel welcome. The professionalism of the manager and everyone that works there is second to none. Nothing has been too much trouble so far. I am completley satified so far with the care that mum is recieving. They have not just supported mum but all of us as well. Highly recommend.

I am very happy with the care my aunt receives here. She is settled and enjoys the food. Staff are helpful and welcoming and treat her with respect and dignity making allowances for her wish to sometimes remain in her room. It's a relief to know that the staff are looking out for her and call for help
as soon as medical assistance is required.

During the four years that my mum has been looked after at Linden House, we have been extremely happy with all aspects of the care and conditions there.
Training and health and safety must be of very high standards as my mum, who is very immobile, has not encountered any falls or mishaps to my knowledge.

Current Review Score: 9.2 (9.179)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.2 (9.179) out of 10 for Linden House is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 5 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.3 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.898 for Linden House is calculated as follows: ( (53 Excellents x 5) + (6 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 59 Ratings = 4.898
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.281 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Linden House is based on 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.5
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 32 registered maximum number of service users is 6.4. 5 Positive Reviews ÷ 6.4 = 0.781
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
