After my Dad passed away very quickly in July 2025 we had to find a care home which met my Mum's needs very quickly. We are so pleased we found Priors Mead and even more pleased they had one room available. It was a very unsettling time for my Mum having just lost her husband and we moved her from Tunbridge
Wells to Reigate so she'd be close to us and are so pleased we did!
The staff are all absolutely fantastic and my Mum couldn't be any better looked after. There is always an activity the residents can partake in or always another resident or staff member they can just sit and talk to if they wish. Mum feels safe and cared for and that's our main wish for her. We are so very grateful to Claire and all her team there, they really do a fantastic job!

My Mother has been very well cared for at Priors Mead having moved from a different care home where she was very unhappy and her needs weren't met. The staff are very attentive and I couldn't wish for better care.

As a family, we are all exceptionally happy with the care that Mum is receiving at Priors Mead. We moved her here from another home that was not good for her, as it was too impersonal. At Priors Mead though, the staff all know her very well indeed, as it's a relatively small home, and this means that
her care is the best it can be.

Priors Mead is an exceptional care home. They have shown so much patience and kindness in the past 12 months towards my father and go above and beyond to support and care for him. All the staff at Priors Mead show empathy and they go out of their way to ensure each person is treated with kindness and

I cannot fault the exemplary care and attention my father has received since moving into Priors Mead in January 2024.
The staff have made every effort to get to know him and have made sure he has settled well into his new home. I think his health, thanks to the careful monitoring shown by care staff,
has improved. My father is very pleased with his room and often tells me he enjoys the meals that are provided. Thank you Priors Mead.

Priors Mead is a lovely place for my mother to live, all the rooms are nicely decorated with lovely furnishings, all the staff go above and beyond to look after the residents, they get attention throughout the day and all staff are happy and cheerful. I can't fault anyone, management are very nice and
helpful and food is great, I have eaten there a few times.

The staff are only too willing to help and resolve issues quickly.
They are kind to residents and nothing seems too much trouble.
The atmosphere in the home is tranquil and calm. It doesn’t smell; there are fresh flowers around to bring the outdoors in. There are lots of places to sit quietly with
our relative.

My mother was a resident at Priors Mead for just over two years. She lived at home till the age of 90. The staff encouraged Mum to be involved in activities which she enjoyed. In the last few months of her life, the staff were fantastic encouraging her to eat and waving to her every time they passed
her room and quite often she would wave back. They kept me informed at all times if Mum wasn’t too good. I was so grateful that I was able to be with Mum at the end. The staff were very respectful and asked if I was okay. I chose Priors as it was small and caring and the staff are lovely. I will miss them, especially all the cups of tea they have made for me every time I visit.
Thank you all again for the care you gave Mum she was always kept comfortable. I would recommend Priors to friends and feel very fortunate to have found Priors Mead.

My mother spent over 3 years at Priors Mead, until her death there in May 2023. The staff were always caring, friendly and welcoming and my mother settled in quickly. She liked her room and enjoyed the activities they put on - they have plenty of them - and was content there and very well looked after.
During her last few months, she deteriorated a lot physically and mentally and I was especially impressed and grateful that the staff were still so very caring with her. When she was no longer able to get up and had to stay in bed, they put everything in place for her comfort and were very attentive as dementia resulted in her forgetting where she was and getting distressed. They were very kind to me and other family/friends at this difficult time. I thoroughly recommend Priors Mead.

My dear Mum has been a resident at Priors Mead since January 2018 and is very happy there. The management and staff look after her extremely well, they are caring and compassionate. Health complications have resulted in hospital visits but these are dealt with efficiently and I am always kept informed.
She is well fed and watered and enjoys all the entertainments laid on. I would recommend Priors Mead to anyone.

The building is always clean, warm and welcoming and I have never seen the staff anything other than polite, happy and patient.
My mother arrived at Priors Mead Care Home 6 months ago but unfortunately, like so many older people she deteriorated mentally over a short time. The staff have done their
utmost to accommodate this new and sometimes challenging behaviour and do their best to ensure that my mother's time and our visits are as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.
We are all exceptionally happy to have found this home.

Initially, my father and mother joined Priors Mead in mid-2018. In choosing the home, several were visited and Priors Mead was, by far the best. Dad had to move to another home because he needed nursing care and this reinforced the view that Priors Mead offered a much better standard of care than the
norm. COVID and the nationwide issues in the care industry has inevitably impacted on all homes. However, Priors Mead continues to provide an excellent level of care and the head of home deserves a special mention in dealing so well with the challenges of running a care facility.

My gran stayed at Priors Mead Care Home for some respite care following some difficulties at home and our family could not believe the difference in her whilst with them! She was happier, brighter, well fed, and constantly amused! Her room was lovely with views of their stunning garden and my gran particularly
loved the magnolia tree right outside her window. Every member of the team we came across was friendly and happy to help - I wouldn’t mind staying there myself! Huge thanks to all, I am sure she will be back!

My friend and neighbour has lived at Priors Mead Care Home for a year or so, after an unfortunate fall at home which meant he was no longer able to look after himself.
I visit regularly and must say how impressed I've been with the friendly staff who are clearly professional, caring and treat the residents
with respectful dignity and kindness. The facilities include a lovely communal lounge, dining room, and wonderful conservatory.
I've noticed that my friend is always smartly dressed with freshly laundered clothing and his bedding similarly is spotlessly clean. His room is bright and cheery and I think was redecorated before he moved in. He enjoys a lovely view over the large attractive garden, which is beautifully kept and benefits from a large patio area.
The home is warm and inviting and visitors are made welcome any time and greeted with an offer of a hot drink, which is much appreciated.

My mother arrived at Priors Mead Care Home just two years ago at the height of Covid. During her stay there she has been looked after by a kind and caring staff. My mother has been a resident at Priors Mead Care Home for about 18 months and throughout that time she has been treated with kindness and respect. The wonderful staff are very friendly and welcoming and being a small care home they know their residents well which creates a pleasant and fun atmosphere.
The staff work extremely hard to provide an interesting and varied range of activities and decorate the home in different ways depending on the time of year.
Following a stay in hospital specialist equipment was organised by the manager to enable Mum to return to Priors Mead for which we are very grateful and we are kept well informed as to how Mum is both mentally and physically. The home itself has very nicely decorated bright rooms with a variety of seating areas which creates a very homely feel and when it is warm enough the residents can go outside and enjoy the lovely garden.
We are very happy with the care and support given to Mum and would highly recommend Priors Mead.

We consider ourselves lucky that Priors Mead were able to accommodate our loved one when she needed a few weeks of care after a stay in hospital. The staff are friendly and caring, and there is a warm family feel to this relatively small home. Even as a temporary resident we found that the manager was
proactive in getting repeat prescriptions, organising district nurse's care etc. Thank you.
