My father stayed at Walton Park Care Home for three weeks as Respite Care. He was looked after brilliantly and I would like to thank Dominique for always going the extra mile with communication and help to make his stay better.

I was given a very warm welcome, offered coffee and lunch which I wasn't expecting. Everyone I met was polite and helpful. All of the nurses and carers caring for my Aunt were compassionate and respectful and I admired them for the humane job that they do. Everyone was happy to engage with me in conversation. My Aunt's room was clean, comfortable and spacious and cool, even in the heatwave. I left knowing that the residents here are very well cared for.

WOW! What a privilege to enjoy a concert by one of the carers while the team cheerfully kept everyone cool in this hot weather. Our mother was thriving at WCH so we were a bit worried when ownership changed. Luckily, we are impressed with CUK's attention to detail and drive to raise quality. Most importantly, the marvellous WCH team, who we have grown to love, are still there caring and even occasionally singing to mum. The positivity they constantly show and passion to give care is humbling. Mum loves people watching and the smiles, laughter and gentle touches from everyone, not only the carers, keeps her engaged and happy. Dementia has taken away a lot but kindness still warms her and the attention given to her around food is much appreciated. Family and friends have noted her improvements so after years of supporting her care at home I finally took a longer break as mum is now in good hands. THANK YOU to all at WCH as each person has helped create mum's comfortable home.

I find the staff are very good at their jobs and treat the residents with respect. Occasionally, my wife is not dressed as I would like, and her compression socks are occasionally not put on. Some of the wonderful staff go above and beyond, which is so good to see. Staff are becoming more aware of dementia residents' needs, which can only be of benefit all round.

A truely exceptional care home - Our group of lifelong friends recently held a pre christmas meal at the care home. so that our dear friend who is a resident could join us. With the support of the care home manager and her wonderful staff everything was arranged perfectfully. The dining room was beautifully set, and every request we made was met instantly and with genuine kindness. Two weeks earlier our friends husband collapsed while visiting and sadly later passed away. The staff's response that day was exceptional - calm, caring and highly professional. As a group of friends we will always be grateful for the way they handled such a diffivcult moment. Despite the sadness the care home team encouraged us to continue with our planned meal and their warmth made the day truly special. From the activities staff, kitchen staff, carers and others everyone showed compassion and dedication, even though our friend was the only residen with us. It is a care home where people genuinely care !!!

Thank you Walton Park team for your warm and professional welcome. We have been impressed with everyone's dedication, and the keenness to develop good communications so all our mum's needs can be met.
It has been a joy to know she is already thriving. To see her playing ballon ping-pong, and know the staff understood what she wanted during the spa activity, has been heart-warming. She is more alert and engaged - wonderful. With her dietary needs being met and lots of kindness she is quickly settling in.
Sleep has always been tricky but the lively daily activities and wonderful team have worked a miracle - she is beginning to sleep well.
My siblings described her room and care as DELUXE, something she deserves! A good move from live-in care. Knowing our mum is in caring hands, and all our queries answered, has given us the confidence to trust and relax.
Your team's consideration of mum and me is marvellous. I can't thank you enough.

Well done WP team, you're all GREAT

Mum went for some respite care and has now become a permanent resident. The home is a lovely environment for her and she feels settled and in her words, "the carers are all so lovely and leave me alone if I want but are always there if I need them". From my perspective the management have been wonderful making the transition as easy as possible, taking care of all kinds of admin and organisation and liaison with health workers, Gp etc and taking time to answer my myriad of questions and put my mind at rest. The nurses and carers can't do enough for mum or our family and we couldn't have made a better choice.

We are so grateful to the nurses, cares, cooks, management, and owners of Walton Park. Mum has lived at Walton Park for a year and a half with Alzheimer's. The team care has really helped her stabilise and make her day meaningful. Because I live in California, it gives me great peace of mind to know she is being looked after so well. Thank you, Walton Park

I am deeply disappointed by the way Walton Part Care Home operates. From my experience, it feels like as though the management is far more concerned with financial gain than with the actual wellbeing of the residents. Decision to help is zero, the manager, extremely rude, cold and money-driven. A care home should prioritise dignity, comfort and emotional support - but sadly, those values appear to be secondary here. Families entrust their loved ones to this facility, expecting empathy and professionalism, not indifference marked by invoices. The worst management ever. I sincerely hope they improve, thinking of people and not money. More to say but not enough space here.

Walton Park Care home staff go above and beyond with love and care. They treated my dad as family and nothing was too big or small.
They helped us through a tough time with such affection. Having had a bad experience at another home, this was so refreshing and we soon learnt what "care" should look like
I can not recommend them enough.

The most amazing care was given to my Dad. Staff treated him with dignity, respect and guided us as a family through Dads deteriorating health and end of life. They looked after our family as well as my Dad and we felt nothing was too much trouble. Staff are fantastic, facilities better than most hotels I've stayed in. Their admittance process was quick and tailored to Dads needs and staff all treated Dad as a very much loved member of their family. I am so glad he spent his final weeks in such an amazing place.

The care staff in general are all so caring considerate and kind. The cleaning staff go above and beyond their duties assisting my father with putting the correct TV. channel on, and having conversations with him. I especially would like to praise the 'clinical Lead' of the care home as she goes above and beyond. Dad can be difficult at times being very confused with dementia. Dads needs a lot of care with leg ulcers and infections daily and the 'Clinical Lead' attends to his every need.

Walton Park care home welcomes my mum in enthusiastically and with so much compassion and care I was blown away. The gorgeous new, purpose built facilities speak for themselves. The gardens are wonderful and the amazing ease with which each person can make use of it all still astounds me. But the personal level of care is what continues to move me each time I visit. Activities are targeted and personalised and made very accessible. And frequent. Each resident is known and understood and mum is so so happy there despite always saying she did not want to move out of home. Her individual needs are met so well and the kindness of each member of staff is like nothing I have ever seen before. She feels and we feel she is so lucky to be living there. The nursing care is second to none and the relationship with the doctors mean they are able to provide very speedy and properly diagnosed treatment if needed. It's incredible.

My two week stay in Walton Park Care Home has been a great success. I came in needing help to recover from a serious fall and surgery. My Dad has been a resident at Walton Park Care Home for just over a year. He has dementia with high needs and a very challenging sleeping pattern. Both staff and carers have worked closely with us as a family to address this. Thanks to their determination and relentless patience he is now in a much better routine, sleeping less during the day and enjoying a fuller life. Walton Park has a very cosy atmosphere, it's a home away from home so to speak. Staff and carers are always very welcoming and friendly so you feel you can just pop in or stay as long as you wish. The food is excellent with a good selection and quality and the activities are varied and engaging. I never thought my Dad would participate but he really enjoys them. I've seen a great improvement in his mood and well being since he moved in because staff and carers have really taken the time to get to know him. I'm so grateful to them for creating such a positive and supportive caring environment.
