My dad arrived at Signature care home in September last year. He has a diagnosis of dementia. It was initially difficult for Dad to settle into his new environment; however, with the support of excellent management and an exceptionally wonderful care team, Dad is now settling in well.
The team has been very supportive, providing good care for my dad.
It has been a huge relief to know Dad is being looked after by people who genuinely care.

I would highly recommend Signature at Banstead.

Our mum is very happy at Signature at Banstead. After staying there on respite care, she decided she would like to live there permanently, so this is what she has now done. The main reason is that there is always something going on, such as outings, games, etc. She also enjoys all the company of the residents and staff; it is a very friendly environment.

Staff are always very helpful, welcoming and friendly. Mum has said food can be a little variable in the past but has improved this year with the new chef. Have had a couple of issues with the non-attendance of staff, after 30 minutes after Mum has activated her pendant - hopefully will improve this year with the new system, but generally, staff come quickly if they can. The home is very clean and well-maintained. Lots of activities - Mum always appears to be busy with something. Mum is getting an internal phone as sometimes she finds it difficult to locate the right person through the concierge. Home went out of their way to take Mum to the Doctor when the taxi did not turn up and took Mum in their own bus - so greatly appreciated. Overall, very impressed with the standard of care, and Mum has committed to staying here on a long-term basis as a result.

I must say that all the staff are so friendly, and nothing is too much trouble here. My mother has used Signature at Bandstead for respite care and has now been a full-time resident for three months, and she loves it there.
There always so much going on every day, and she’s very sociable.

So it’s the ideal home for her; she just loves it there.

We visited several care homes and instantly knew this was the right one for my dad. The staff are warm, caring, friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. They show a real interest in each individual as a person and there is a genuine feeling of happiness, calm and inclusivity. There are lots of interesting activities to either take part in or watch. I have been hugely impressed by the care and kindness shown to my dad and our family. There was one day when he wasn't feeling well and the attention to detail and care he received was amazing. It is wonderful to know he is in safe hands.

My partner seemed to settle quite quickly into his two-week respite stay. He was welcomed by all staff and looked after very well. I was offered lunch which I accepted and enjoyed. My partner joined in a few of the activities and had a beautiful ensuite room. Friends and family who visited during the two weeks were very impressed.

We cannot fault the wonderful welcome from all the staff. I was extremely impressed when I just called in without an appointment one Saturday to pick up some information and was given a full tour. My mother was apprehensive at first but soon settled in and on her first day was again welcomed in a friendly and professional way. Lots of activities available and the opportunity to make friends and social interaction. Would strongly recommend.

I needed somewhere to take two weeks convalescence following surgery. From my first visit to see round the home, I was very quickly confident that this would be the right place: the calm atmosphere, restful decor, comfortable furnishings and cleanliness, plus the feeling of welcome from management and staff. After admission, everything lived up to and often exceeded my hopes. Staff and volunteers put a lot of work into keeping the residents safe, comfortable, healthy and engaged with activities and entertainments. The grounds and gardens are beautifully-maintained and offer a good space for gentle exercise and walks after meals etc. At the end of my fortnight, I was genuinely sorry to leave. If I need further convalescence in the future, or even a permanent residency in a care home when I can no longer cope on my own, Signature at Banstead will be my first choice. Worth saying too, that all my visitors while I was there were impressed and commented favourably on the home.

My Mother has been with Signature in Banstead since February 2023 and has settled in very well. All the staff know her name and are very attentive. The family feel comfortable that she is in the best possible place and has had some medical issues that have been dealt with promptly. Some distant family members who have visited have likened it to a hotel.

Both of my parents (96 and 94) move into Signature at Banstead in March 2023.
They have a lovely room surrounded by their own furniture and have settled in well. The staff at the home are very caring and kind, and my parents both feel very safe there, which was our main consideration.
The home is more like a hotel and is large and has plenty of activity space with a lovely garden. There is always lots to do, and a full programme is provided each week.
The meals provided are of a very high standard, and there is always plenty of choices.
Their medical needs are well cared for, and although my mother has dementia, she is treated with care and understanding by all the staff.
The staff there do an excellent job in what must be difficult circumstances. I cannot praise them enough for providing a safe and caring environment.

My parents feel safe and cared for and that is what we most wanted.

My mum has been here for four months and has settled in really well. Signature at Banstead has such a lovely atmosphere, and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The home is light and airy, and because downstairs is quiet and open plan, it's easy for Mum to see everyone even if she isn't in the same room, so she never feels alone. The gardens are so well-kept, and there are plenty of places to sit outside. My mum enjoys talking to everyone, and the activity team goes above and beyond in keeping the residents busy. It has been a huge relief to see how well Mum has adapted to living in a home, especially as she was married for 64 years before my father passed away. I can not thank the staff enough for all that they do.

After a sharp decline in health, my mother could no longer live on her own at home. Mym had always said she wanted to stay at home, so we were unsure how she would manage the change; however, it had all been a very positive experience. The lovely, familiar spacious room helps, together with having familiar possessions on display. The staff are numerous and always caring, interested and respectful; it really is a lovely community. There is a detailed plan of activities, which helps relatives to fit in visits, and the food always appears a very good standard with lots of variety.
