The care for my stepfather and the relationships built are clearly seen. I cannot fault how caring they all are. The only area I feel the care home needs to improve on is the refurbishment (which is happening and ongoing). Renaissance definitely needs a brighten up. My stepfather has always complained about the standards of the food. I think this is really the only area that needs to be worked on. He even moaned about it on my visit on 11/9. Other than than, Sunrise of Esher can't do enough for us and Covid has been handled professionally!
At Sunrise we pride ourselves on offering a wide variety of dining options for our residents. Whilst we have a structured menu system across our portfolio, the dining team here at Sunrise of Esher are open to requests that our residents would love to see. We are always open to feedback and will take your comments on board.
Met and guided by a very helpful member of staff.
Thank you for your kind words. We believe we have a fantastic team here at Sunrise of Esher and your recognition of this is appreciated by every member of our team. By having a whole home approach here at Sunrise we believe this creates a relaxed and friendly environment for our residents to call home.
Finding a care home during Covid was extremely difficult. The information on the website was clear, open and complete - nothing hidden. Our 'virtual' tour and the time given to us and spent with my mother-in-law was never too much trouble and the friendliness and patience of staff amazing. Moving in was very easy and although the isolation, until screening results came back, was difficult, we were all impressed as to how things were managed. I hope that this continues to be the case! So far a very positive experience - you came highly recommended and haven't disappointed.
Here at Sunrise of Esher we have worked hard to ensure all of residents receive the highest quality of care and security within our home. Thank you for your kind words, these will be shared with the team and we look forward to welcoming you back to our home soon.
My mother recently joined Sunrise of Esher during difficult Covid-19 times. Staff have gone the extra mile to help with making our choice of new home. Moving in day was made so easy by the helpful staff. Any little issues early on were soon sorted out.
Sunrise of Esher appreciate moving into a care home can be an unsettling time. This is why we take the time to engage with family members and friends of the resident to make the process as smooth as possible, to get to know the resident on a personal level. We are pleased your mother has settled in well.
I've been pleased with the level of care and communication and feel grateful for the support my mother has received throughout this pandemic.

The 2 women that carried out my mother's initial assessment were lovely, friendly and professional. My mother described all the care home staff as extremely pleasant, especially the woman who helped settle her in on her first day. My mother said her room and the view was lovely, and the food was great.

Meet the Team (8)

I joined here as a Senior Care Assistant in 2013, progressed to Reminiscence Coordinator, managed the Assisted Living Department, and now I am overseeing both departments as a Deputy Manager since September 2019. I also supported the General Manager with Clinical Requirements and the Activities Coordinator with our Activities Programme. In August 2023 I was promoted to General Manager position.
I have been given the opportunity to develop my skills, learn and progress. I am a qualified physiotherapist with a hospital and private sector background. I hold Diploma Level 5 in Health and Social Care. I am passionate about care and dedicated to providing a high-quality service tailored to each person's individual needs. I am proud to be part of the Esher Team.

I joined Esher Manor as a Senior Care Assistant Wellbeing in February 2019. I was then promoted to Dementia Care Manager in November 2019. I have been working in the care sector since 2003, and I was originally a nurse in my home country. I have managed two Residential Care Homes previously, and I hold a Level 4 in Health and Social Care. I enjoy working with elderly people, especially those with dementia, and the smile on their faces gives me a sense of achievement. My priority is to have a good relationship with residents, their families and staff to ensure that they feel welcome and at home.

I have been working in the Care industry for over 20 years and thoroughly enjoy it.
I've had such a warm welcome from all Residents and Team Members at Esher Manor, and I look forward to getting to know all our lovely Residents and Family members.
I have completed my NVQ level 5, and am very passionate about end of life care.

Hi, I'm Joanna. I joined Esher Manor in February 2019 and can honestly say I have never looked back. Every day is a different day, and I have the privilege of helping families choose the right care home for their loved ones.
From the point that a family makes an enquiry to Esher Manor, I will be able to help with any questions whether it be for short-term respites or permanent care.
We love to get involved in Local Community projects at Esher Manor, so I'd love to hear from you if you're holding an event, or think we can help out.

I joined in March 2019. Before starting here, I worked within the public care sector as a Human Resources Assistant and finance and Payroll Manager for over 20 years. I enjoy getting to know residents, families and staff. I support the General Manager and office administration and my door is always open.

I joined Esher Manor in April 2022. I have previously worked within the group for 7 years altogether.
I'm a passionate cook with an eye for detail who has worked in the care sector since 2011, where I gained my knowledge, experience and qualifications.‘PASSION’ was always my top core value.
Cooking is an ‘ART’. As in art, you mix colours and a beautiful picture manifest so in cooking, you have to be creative, full of passion, and imaginative and your meals will be like a piece of art beautifully presented on the plate.
I'm excited to be part of the Avery Collection Family, working with our lovely residents and their families.

I joined Esher Manor in June 2021 as a maintenance coordinator. It is my first time working in a caring environment, and I find it very rewarding. I look after the building, repairing or replacing what is broken whilst looking after everyone’s health and safety.

I joined the company in 2015, and I'm delighted to say that I work in such a wonderful caring environment.
My passion is elderly care, everyone is unique and has an interesting story to tell.
I always try my best to make sure that our Residents receive the best care and that all of our Team Members feel valued.
I am privileged to have such a fantastic team, making the environment warm and friendly, and a home from home for us too.
