Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge. Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible.

My mother has been in Whitebourne for a few years now and we have seen changes in staff and management. The current manager and staff are simply brilliant and I am very happy with the care my mother is getting.

My husband stayed here for respite. Very well looked after and he enjoyed his stay in the home, even arranged for his covid booster. Manager is very nice and polite. The place is very well managed, clean and tidy and offered a variety of activities. Will definitely choose for future respite stay....

Since my father was placed in the Frimely Care Home, his health has been slowly declining. However, the good care and attention given by staff, has enabled him to regain some of his previous functions. There is always a very good update from all the staff on his day and nobody seems to be short of...
Their presence is constant and it always appears they have everyone's best interest at heart. My initial opinion is that I'm really comfortable Dad will be looked after extremely well. His recent pneumonia case in point.

My husband has dementia and I need him to go into respite. He has been to three other care homes and has never really settled but Whitebourne was entirely different and I felt relaxed about leaving him as the staff are lovely. He came home happy and relaxed.

She left yesterday as her needs are now so complex, she needs a more nursing-led approach but the send off brought tears to my eyes. Every single carer, helper and manager came out to hug her and wish her well. Whitebourne may look very ordinary on the outside but it is extraordinary within. Thank you for everything.

I began working for Care UK in 2021, but I felt I knew the provider well – five other family members of mine work for Care UK care homes and have done for many years.
All Care UK homes have the same goal: to provide the best possible care for older people.
Before joining Whitebourne, I worked for another large care provider for almost 14 years. I worked my way up from Care Assistant to Head Housekeeper to Receptionist to Team Leader, Deputy Manager and finally Home Manager. I was always encouraged to apply for new roles, and the progress I’ve made is my proudest achievement.
I am always thinking about what is best for the residents we care for at Whitebourne, and it’s important as a Home Manager to be open-minded, honest and approachable. For me, the best part of the day is the end of the shift when I get to check that the residents are all safe and well, the home is cosy and warm, and the staff are all thanked for their work. I look forward to continuing to progress at Whitebourne and to leading our amazing team in providing excellent care.
When I’m not at work, I love spending quality time making memories with my family.
