We have found the staff to be caring, patient, humorous and efficient on both the telephone and in person.
There is a cheerful atmosphere in the home and the common areas are bright and comfortable. My mother likes her room and the staff have been very accommodating in allowing her to fill it with personal items. She enjoys the communal area and the staff make a huge effort with daily activities - this has been so important during the lockdown. They have also arranged good hairdressing and chiropody services.
Thank you for your kind words. We shall pass on your comments to the staff teams.
I can’t thank you enough for the care you gave my mother in law. My mother in law hasn’t been very well recently, but thanks to your care I feel like we have our Mum back!
My mother in law is now in one of their sister homes and is still very happy!
Thank you for your kind words, Harriet. I will ensure that I pass all your lovely words on to the rest of the team.
My husband was in another coast care home but went into hospital following a fall downstairs. Because he was bedridden he had to go elsewhere but hospital discharge would have been anywhere. I was so pleased Coast Care intervened and got him to Bexhill Care Centre first. Advanced Alzheimer's meant no speech but they have worked out his preferences food, drink and music, also now he's up and about a bit with a simmer and very happy. They are such friendly and dedicated staff. Even with redecorating going on, they keep everyone happy.
Thank you for your review, we will make sure the staff teams hear of your comments.
The general care by support workers and young support workers was wonderful. Caring, considerate and kind. Thank you so very much. My mum returned almost to her former self after a period of delirium. They managed to balance her medication and look after her so well during Coivd, and for a lady with complex care needs. Difficult to assess every aspect as Covid prevented, so review just for telephone calls and window waving.
Thank you for your review. We are pleased your Mum is recovering well.

Kevin, alongside his wife Lynda, started the company in 2003 when they purchased Whitebriars. Before this, Kevin had spent most of his career in the construction industry, before he decided he needed a career change.
Whilst Kevin did not have a background in care before this, Kevin quickly identified the areas of care that were failing and made it his mission to ensure Coast Care Homes Ltd was a leader in providing innovative outcomes and outstanding person-centred care. Kevin has been ever-present at all services and supports the management teams daily, offering experience and guidance.
Kevin’s inspiration came from David Sheard from Dementia Care Matters, and the ethos instilled by Kevin is present in all the services.

Lynda, alongside her husband Kevin, started the company in 2003 when they purchased Whitebriars.
Lynda has been involved with the shaping of Coast Care Homes since the beginning and has been a driver in ensuring the homes are welcoming and have a homely feel. Lynda has been integral in helping to ensure the company has a positive Social Media presence, which has contributed massively towards the excellent reputation that Coast Care Homes have in the East Sussex area.
Lynda’s day-to-day involvement is in guiding the Activities & Outcomes team, to ensure Coast Care Homes sets itself apart from other local homes in the area, by providing Outstanding Outcomes. Lynda is also heavily involved in planning regular Staff Appreciation events, ensuring that staff feel valued when working for Coast Care Homes and improving staff retention.

Tee has worked in various care settings since 2004 and has lots of experience working closely with children who suffer from profound physical disabilities.
Tee’s strengths lie in her strong commercial focus, which has helped Coast Care Centre reach record income levels. Louis started with Coast Care in April 2020, originally joining the company as a Care Assistant at Coast Care Centre, before becoming then Co-Manager in June 2023.
Louis joined Coast Care Centre after wanting to pursue a career in care, following helping to care for both of his grandparents and finding he had a real interest in caring for the elderly.
