At Mountside care isn’t led by routines; it’s led by relationships. They know the small details that make a big difference; a favourite story, a preferred cup of tea, or a shared joke that brings a smile. Overall Experience

Since my mother has been residing at Mountside Care Home (18mth) my husband, myself, our family and most of all my mother have had peace of mind because of the care and attention given by all members of staff. They are all very professional, thoughtful, dedicated and importantly friendly. Every resident receives the same level of attention equally which I think is important, all residents are made to feel special which they are. There are many activities and outings which are stimulating.

Review from Pamela H (Sister of Resident) published on 22 March 2018 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

On the whole, the staff are very good and very hard working. The fact that there are not enough of them is a widespread problem. My sister gets quite upset when the buzzer is not answered especially when she has an appointment and needs to be helped down in the lift, but also because the bell is situated outside her room and despite being deaf, she can hear it ringing insistently from morning until night.

Meals don't always come on time, towels not changed and bed not made until evening. Some problems with privacy.
