Beach View is located in Elmer, a town in the Arun district of West Sussex and provides specialist care for individuals living with learning and/or physical disabilities between the ages of 18 and 65 years.
Their aim is to provide service users with a relaxed and comfortable environment where they are encouraged to become active and valued members of both their home and local community.
Beach View has been specifically adapted to cater for service users with severe physical disabilities with wheelchair access throughout and a purpose-built lift. The single occupancy bedrooms are spacious and have en-suite wet room facilities. There are also two communal bathrooms for those who prefer to bathe.
The home has a large communal living and dining area and a separate sensory room where service users can relax or be stimulated in.
Beach View encourage service users to personalise the home to their own taste, especially their bedrooms, and all prospective service users are given the opportunity of a trial visit before making a decision.
