Manorfield always welcomed our dog, Belle, who gave Cynthia so much pleasure - the smile and welcome received by Cynthia was wonderful to see - as was her welcome by all Manorfield staff.
I have no respiration in giving Manorfield a 10 out of 10 score for their care and attention to Cynthia.
Thank you for your lovely review of our care and friendly, happy atmosphere. It is heartwarming and very reassuring to know that you found us all to be welcoming on your visits with your lovely dog Belle. Your kind words of praise of our care are very much appreciated by us all, thank you very...
Since mum went to live at Manorfields about 18 months ago as a family, we have been so pleased with the care and compassion given to her. The staff are so friendly and it really is like a home from home. Nothing is too much for them and the staff always make time to talk about any worries as we may have about mum's health. The gardens are immaculate and beautiful which mum loves to walk around, having enjoyed her own garden in the past. I as her daughter could not be happier knowing mum is settled and happy. Mum on one occasion after we took her back from being out one morning quoted "it's good to be home". We couldn't ask for anything more.
We are all delighted with your lovely review about our care of your Mum. It is heart warming to know that your Mum calls Manorfield home and is happy in her home with us all. It is important for Residents and families to feel 'listened to' and we do our best to achieve best practice with...
My mum has been in Manorfields now for over 18 months. She is very happy there in the home and her room leads straight out onto the lovely, well-kept gardens. She couldn't manage to live at her own home after slowly losing her cognitive ability and acute anxiety. She was then 91. The home welcomed her and made her feel very welcome, and she took a while to settle and adjust to her new environment. The management ( Karen) is amazing as well as one of the owners, Leon. Care is their first concern above all else, and it shows. Thank you.
Thank you for your review. It is heart warming to read your words as you have captured precisely what we aim to achieve here at Manorfield. We all adore your lovely Mother and it is our pleasure and privilege to care for her.
My Mum has now been residing at Manorfield for nearly 5 years - when she first became a resident she was warmly welcomed into the Manorfield family. It's such a friendly and cosy home and we've always had peace of mind that she's receiving the very best of care from all the amazing team there who have always made the wider family feel welcome too.
Sadly, two years ago my Mum was diagnosed with dementia - through every stage of its progression the staff continue to show the utmost kindness and compassion towards my Mum and to provide great support and guidance to the family.
It's clear that each and every member of staff takes a great pride in their care work and we continue to be extremely grateful to them all for looking after our precious Mum.
Thank you for your heartwarming review of our care of your Mum. It gives us all reassurance to know that our care is making a difference to our Residents lives and also their families lives. Your lovely comments are very much appreciated by us all and gives us a great feeling of job satisfaction knowing our Residents feel loved and cared for and families feel supported too. Thank you.
Our Mum sadly passed away on Saturday 22/11/25 the managers and staff treated mum with respect and dignity also making her laugh during her stay. They also looked after us as a family I can't speak too highly of the home and care given,it was the best decision for mum.I would recommend them to look after your love ones.xx
Thank you for your kind words which are very much appreciated by us all. We are glad that found our care and our care home just right for you, your lovely Mum and your family when you all joined our Manorfield family. It was wonderful to see Mum giggling and heartwarming for you all, her own...
My lovely mum unfortunately recently passed away. The care she received was first class. Her last days were so happy, she was always treated with respect and dignity. The carers here are so dedicated.Their calm and gentle encouragement was just what Mum needed. Frightened and often frustrated she responded to their gentle approach.
Mum was singing and smiling in her final hours and when the time came the amazing staff were with her holding her hands.
They are part of our family always.
They always made time to support us, comforting us.
I will always be so grateful for their kindness at such a sad time.
Thank you for taking time out to review our care home, especially at this time in your life's journey. Your supportive words give us reassurance that we are doing our best for our Residents and their families, as we all become one family. Heartwarming for everyone that your lovely Mum was singing...
Mum had the most excellent care the few weeks she was there. Sadly she passed away at the weekend. The rooms are lovely, homely and tastefully decorated. It is always clean and you can tell well looked after. The staff, what can i say, every member of staff was kind, caring, respectful and patient. Nothing was too much trouble. They did not only look after Mum but the family too. Always communicating putting our minds at rest, offering us tea and a hug when we needed it. Right up to the end the managers Cathy, Karen and Stacey were amazing. All staff were so kind and thoughtful taking time to speak with us, reassure us. If your looking for a care home for your loved one, Manorfield would be an excellent choice. So glad we found this little gem. Mum was happy, we were happy.
Thank you for your kind words about our care and our care home. Your thoughts and feelings are received with great pleasure and satisfaction for us to know that relatives feel happy with our care home and our care of their loved ones. It is not an easy decision to make a choice of a care home at...
My brother receives wonderful care at Manorfield and we feel extremely lucky to have found this special place for him.The staff are endlessly kind and patient with him and we, his family, have peace of mind that he could not be in a better or safer place.
Thank you for your kind words which are so very much appreciated and reassuring for us all that the care we deliver is effective for your brother. You, taking the time to review our care home means a lot to our Team and gives a great boost to know our Residents are happy in their home.
Manorfield has a good reputation locally so when we needed to find a carehome for my mum it was an obvious choice to consider. As a first impression, we were impressed at the facilities and cleanliness of the building and the staff seemed friendly and capable. Having now had 2 months of experience of mum being a resident of the home i can confirm our first impressions were spot on and the team at Manorfield have exceeded our expectations in how they have helped mum settle in and ensured that mum had support from the doctors that had been sadly lacking before. The team are great communicators which makes us rest assured that we know how mum is and I think most importantly the team are kind and caring to mum. In previous carehomes I have visited over the years, the caring element is often lacking which is definitely not the case with Manorfield where they are incredibly thoughtful and attentive.
Thank you very much for taking the time to review our care home. It is a heartwarming review to read of our care home and our Team and your comments are music to our ears. It is important to us all at Manorfield to know that what we do and how we do it is received in a positive and reassuring way...
My brother has been a resident for some time now at Manorfield & I know he is very happy there. Each time I contact the home or visit I have found the staff to be welcoming, friendly, helpful & knowledgeable of my brothers needs & requirements. On each of my visits I have found the home to be very clean & tidy & I've been impressed by the quality of the food with a varied menu. Nothing seems to be to much trouble & the staff are kind & caring which my brother has confirmed. As I live two to three hours away I can't get there as often as I would have like but I'm very happy to say that I feel that he is in safe, caring & capable hands.
Thank you for your review and we are pleased that you are happy with our care of your brother. We all do our very best to ensure that our Residents and their families feel cared about and are happy with our care and our facilities. Your comments mean a lot to us all as they are evidence to the...
I cannot rate Manorfield high enough. The home itself is spotless and the professional helpful and kind staff a breath of fresh air. Karen, Cathy and Stacey are marvelously helpful, so too are all the staff with nothing being too much trouble! If you are looking for a friendly, caring home for your loved one do visit Manorfield. The fact that most of the staff have worked there for years and have a very slow turnover says it all - they care!
Thank you for your heartwarming words, it really is our pleasure to care and we are happy when our Residents and their families feel supported and cared about. Your comments are very much appreciated and as a Team we all do our very best and it is wonderful when our Residents and their families...
They are a wonderful team and have helped my husband and I through some very difficult situations with regard to his dementia care, I considerManorfield to be the very best in our area and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them if asked.
Thank you for your review of our care home and we are delighted that you are happy with our care of your brother and our facilities. Your comments are very much appreciated by us all and we thank you for taking the time to do a review.
Mum spent a wonderful 10 months at Manorfield under the amazing care of all the staff. Sadly Mum had Vascular Dementia and struggled to communicate at times. The staff at Manorfield found amazing ways to communicate with Mum, encouraging her to take part in the fabulous array of activities they hold each day. With their help, she quickly became a firm member of the 'Manorfield Family'. As her daughter, I too was welcomed to be part of the 'family'. The staff updated me on Mum's progress which helped me to feel part of Mum's life as I lived so far away. When I visited, the staff greeted me with love and an outpouring of kindness that will always be remembered. Mum was looked after with care, love and attention. My visits and times with her were precious and the home always made me and my family feel so very welcome. Each and every member of staff took time to chat, and support us through the end of Mum's life journey through to her passing - I'm eternally grateful to them all.
Thank you so much for your beautiful review of our home. It was an absolute honour to be chosen to care for your wonderful Mum. Your lovely words are music to our ears, and will be passed onto our Providers and Team as validation that we here at Manorfield do achieve our goals.
My mum had not experienced a care home prior to staying at Manorfield and we were unsure how well she would adapt. But she honestly loved it in there and was excited to be going back.
Based on my Mum's experiences of Manorfield and my own from visiting her there, I can honestly say that the staff are wonderful and the place has such a happy vibe to it. It's not too large and there are not too many residents at any one time. Consequently, all the staff know all the residents and it feels like everyone knows what's going on.
My mum had stayed at another care home briefly in November 2024 and it had not been a good experience for her. She was unhappy there for various reasons and did not feel safe so I removed her and booked her back into Manorfield where she enjoyed her stay.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home and of course your very kind words. It was our absolute pleasure to care for your lovely Mum and when we learned Mum was returning for a second period of respite we were all delighted and very excited to see her. Needless to say, Mum and you remain part of our Manorfield Family.
I am eternally grateful to each and every staff member for the care, love and support they have shown our family.
Staff have guided us, hugged us, kept up our spirits, made us tea and offered us food if needed.
I will forever be grateful for such a wonderful team of people and cannot recommend Manorfield enough. Even I would choose this home for myself when the time comes.
How lovely to read such a heart-warming review of Manorfield, thank you very much for your kind words, which are very much appreciated. We are glad that you all find Team Manorfield to be caring and supportive, as you say, you are part of that family. We are very grateful that you have taken the...
Each and every member of staff is absolutely lovely and you cannot but help appreciate the wonderful atmosphere which exudes throughout.
Dad has a lovely room, with a French door opening out onto his own patio. He really enjoys interacting with staff members and other residents and particularly likes the musical entertainment.
It is heartwarming to know that he is so happy and settled. Communication is also excellent, which is so important.
Thank you so much for taking the time to post your review; it is heartwarming to read your kind words. It is an absolute pleasure to care for your lovely Father and to read, in his daughter's words, that he is 'so happy' is music to our ears.
My parents initially stayed in Manorfield on a temporary basis, but have chosen to make it their home permanently. The team of staff make it an outstanding residential home and my parents are very well cared for. There is a comfortable, welcoming feel to Manorfield and the approach to care is adaptable to suit everyone's needs.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We here at Manorfield feel honoured to have been selected by mum and dad as their home of choice. To witness Mum and Dad settle so well and so swiftly make 'our' home 'their' home, has been an absolute delight.
When I initially called to make an enquiry, I had a good feeling, after speaking to the manager of the home, she took time to answer all my questions.
I looked at 5 care homes, before Manorfield, as I stepped through the door I knew it would be perfect for my father. The staff are absolutely brilliant, making a difficult transition of moving my father into care, so easy.
I previously worked for Sage House (dementia Support), so understood dementia, but dealing directly with my father was so challenging. However, the staff won him around, he settled from day one, they are so dedicated and kind, an asset to the home. The care home feels homely and is spotless. They have daily activities and lunchtime meals look delicious. The quality of care is excellent! I cannot speak more highly of this wonderful place. It was absolutely the right choice for my father, which gives me complete peace of mind, as I know he is in safe hands and well looked after.
Thank you for such words of comfort and music to all of our ears. It is a very difficult decision to choose the right care home and thankfully, your father is happy and settled. We all really appreciate you taking the time to review our care home thank you.
My husband had been in three care homes before this one. From the moment my daughter and I first looked at care homes we were sure this was the place for my husband so warm (not just temperature) and friendly, cannot say enough good things about this care home.
Thank you for your heart-warming review of our care home. I am very pleased that we were able to make a difference to you and your family and delighted that you found us to be warm and friendly.
The home is modern and appears more like an attractive guest house, which I knew would impress Dad. He never quite worked out where he was but always spoke very highly of both accommodation and staff.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our home. Your lovely dad was a very precious and highly respected member of our Manorfield 'family', whom we miss dearly, we too miss your regular visits to the home. It is so heartwarming to read your endorsement of Dad's happiness whilst at...
