Would thoroughly recommend Offington care home. The care my dad received for respite was amazing & it was just the stepping stone he needed to get him back to his own home from a long spell in hospital. The staff were so friendly polite & treated all the residents with respect.. Nothing was ever too much trouble & I had full confidence he was being looked after well. The fees were also lower than other homes I looked at that needed a total refurbishment & not as friendly!
The staff are always kind, cheerful, willing and helpful. They pay attention to the residents and speak to them in a way which is kind and respectful. Our mother is well looked after, her room is always clean, she is hydrated and well fed. We are so grateful to everyone at Offington Park!
The staff are very welcoming and are always available to speak about the resident and share any relevant information concerning their welfare and wellbeing.
I have observed the food which looks very appetising and in generous quantity !!!! I noticed staff helping other residents during my visit to encourage them to eat, assisting where necessary.
The home has recently been decorated and on my visit looked very clean and tidy.
I am very happy he is well cared for in a place where he seems very settled.
My Dad has been at Offington Park Rest Home for over 3 years. He has very good care from all the staff. They keep me informed of any changes & I visit twice a week so am able to see for myself the compassion with which the staff treat the residents - always smiling & friendly - and to visitors too. I am very happy with the care Dad receives here.
Thank you so much for such a glowing review! We are so grateful to have the support we do from our relatives, and we are very proud of the difference we make to our residents' lives.
The ongoing care my mother is receiving at Offington Park is exceptional. No request to the home for anything my mother needs or the family have concerns about is met with anything but a smile and positive action. Current refurbishment works are coming along nicely.
Thank you so much for your review and we are happy with the current work that is taking place
It was a very hard adjustment, both for Mum and for us, all of her family, to go from her being independent to needing full time care. I cannot speak highly enough of all of the staff at Offington Park. It's a huge relief knowing how attentive and committed the staff are to her care. I can see it every visit, and Mum speaks so highly of them all. Thank you to Sandy and all the staff for looking after her so well. It's meant the world to all of us.
Thank you so much for your kind words, and feel she is family to us. She keeps the staff on their toes, and we love her being with us
My mum came to view the home beginning of march with myself and wife and brother and his wife got such warm welcome from the manager and staff and had nice sit down in conservatory and everything was explain to us by the manager over cup of tea and cake then was showed around and the rooms available my mum said this was the best one viewed and be happy to come here to live. And moved in mid march my mum happy and look so much better now thanks to great staff. The staff make us feel welcome at every visit my wife know staff by their names cant thank the manager and staff for keeping my mum safe it great relief to all family

My uncle came to live here following an extended hospital stay in February 2025. When discharged from hospital he was in very poor health and spirits, thin depressed and suffering from a chest infection that the hospital had failed to manage. He has now been living at Offington Park for 4 months he is healthy and happy and looks so much better. He receives 1st class care from the doctor who attends the home on a regular basis, the physio who gets him doing his exercises the staff who constantly pop in to say hello, his foot care, his haircuts and his nails are all carried out on a regular basis and the manager is always available if you have any queries. I am extremely happy with the level of care and service here. I can now relax knowing that my uncle is safe, happy, no longer lonely and well cared fo, after years of worrying about him, as he lived alone since his wife's passing 1.5 hours away from me.

Our father entered Offington Park in October 2024 and as soon as we arrived the atmosphere in the care home was warm and friendly - we were made to feel very welcome from the outset which is testament to the entire care home team who have proved themselves to our family to be very professional, kind, sensitive, caring and patient. They have all taken the time to get to know our father and make him feel at home treating him with dignity, giving him encouragement, independence and privacy when needed and most importantly keeping him safe while ensuring that his needs are met. The staff show a high level of understanding of dementia and are experts in diffusing any challenging situation that may arise. With activities each day, residents birthday celebrations and parties for the residents families to enjoy plus good homemade food, great cakes and a nice outdoor space to enjoy the sunshine we would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone looking for care for their loved one.

We spoke with the manager and explained our needs for mum. The manager made us all feel very welcome, with a cup of tea. She explained how everything works and the financial aspect.
The manager is a new manager and from the times we have spoken I can honestly say that she is so lovely, very informative and considerate.
The home is going through some refurbishment, so does at the moment look a little untidy, but if you are able to look pass that you can see a really lovely little home
(about 23 residents I believe)
Mum has been there about 5 weeks now and she tells me that every member of staff are lovely too, not a normal response for mum.
I cannot speak highly enough for this little home and I want to thank all the staff for looking after mum so well

My father has settled in very well in this home, much quicker and better than I expected.. The staff are excellent and have been very responsive to any queries that we have had, and very welcoming. He enjoys the company of the staff and residents. Also the entertainment provided - particularly the musician who pays guitar/violin and sings. The home is very clean and the garden sheltered and well maintained. We are very satisfied.

My Mum was a resident at Offington Park for 2 1/2 years. I looked into moving her closer to us, but I was reluctant to take her away from the superb care she got there. The staff are so caring and committed: they went over and above for Mum. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Offington Park - particularly for dementia care. I can never thank the staff enough for making my Mum feel safe, secure and cared-for in her final years.

My father was looked after at Offington Park Rest Home for nearly a year, sadly dad passed away in December. As a family we cannot express how well looked after he was there, especially the last few weeks. All the staff were so caring and they all felt like family to us which was so important to us as a family, nothing was ever to much trouble always making sure we were OK normally with tea and cake which was always appreciated thank you to all the staff for your hard work.
Thank you for your kind review. We are grateful you have entrusted your dad into our care and are pleased to do all we can to support both him and your family.
Dad joined Offington Park just before the first lockdown, from hospital. It was imperative a home was found quickly and we had the very good fortune to find Offington. Dad's care at Offington was exemplary and we know he was very happy there as he was always telling us! He had a lovely rapport with the staff who showed care and compassion towards him. Indeed this care, compassion and love was shown to both us and Dad on his passing. We can't thank every one of the staff enough!
My mum needed to be transferred from having a live in carer at home to becoming a resident in a care home. Although my mum has only been in Offington Park Rest Home for a few days we found the whole process seamless. The care home manager and their team have been brilliant. The prepared my mum's room in a lovely way and it looks so 'homely'. All the carers seem lovely and very engaging with Mum. Although it is still early days we couldn't be happier for Mum and the care she's getting at Offington Park.
Thank you.
My nan has been a resident at Offington for over four years now and she was always reluctant to go into a care home but being at Offington she has been very happy, enjoys the food and has a great rapport with all the staff. Nan always speaks highly of the home and as a family, we couldn't ask for a better place for my Nan.
The staff are very considerate and take time to pay attention to detail.
I am always made very welcome whenever I visit.
Knowing that my husband is so well looked after gives me great peace of mind. The home meets all resident's needs and even makes the family dog welcome.
The entertainment involves all the residents and is second to none.
Thank you so much for such a glowing review! We are so grateful to have the support we do from our relatives, and we are very proud of the difference we make to our residents' lives. I have passed on your positive feedback to the team.
We can’t thank the care team enough for the care they gave to our mum, who had Alzheimer’s. From the very beginning to the very sad few days and hours of our beloved mum. The communication was excellent between us, and we were always made to feel very welcome. We stayed a couple of nights towards the precious hours and were supplied with welcome cups of tea and biscuits. Every step along the way was kindly considered for our Mum to make her comfortable, and we knew that Mum was in good hands at all times when we couldn’t be there. We will be forever thankful for the whole team’s commitment. Much love and forever thanks to the whole team.
Thank you, Julie, for these touching words. We were privileged to support mum, and you, during such an important and sensitive time. We consider our residents and their loved ones our family, and we couldn't imagine caring for you all any other way.
She enjoys sitting in the garden in the summer but, mostly, seems to prefer her own room as her sight and mobility are failing now.
It was our pleasure to celebrate such a milestone birthday! Thank you for your review, it is our privilege to be part of Aunty's care journey.

Meet the Team (1)

I'm Sandy, and I’m thrilled to have recently taken on the role of Manager at Offington. This is an exciting new chapter in my 24-year career in care. I began as a Care Assistant and have worked hard over the years to learn best practices, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care and that our staff feel supported and valued. My commitment to care comes from a deeply personal place—I believe in treating every resident with the same level of care and compassion that I would want for my own family members. Outside of work, I enjoy attending car shows and have a real passion for all things Disney! I am looking forward to leading Offington Park into its new chapter, and I can't wait to invite you all to our next community event.
