All the staff at Offington Park are very friendly and caring. I know that mum is happy there. Mum has been there for a couple of years and has been cared for well. It is a big comfort to know that we can be confident in her care.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We are very pleased to be part of your mum's care journey, and to have you as part of our community.
My mum is really happy since moving into Offington Park, she is very well looked after and settled in really quickly. The staff are really friendly and welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you.
Thank you for your review. I will pass your feedback on to the team. We're glad Mum has settled in so well.
Despite her slight confusion (she will be 94 this year) she always appears happy when we visit; well fed and entertained, and of course, her personal care is superb.
When she has had medical issues we have always been quickly informed, and the matter resolved with the GP and/or paramedics.
The staff are so friendly, not only to mum but also to us when we visit, and our grandchildren (Mum's great-grandchildren) when we take them in to see her.
Hopefully, she will be with us for a number of years, and I am hopeful and happy that she will spend as much of that time as possible at Offington Park.
Hi Mike, thank you very much for your kind words. They mean a lot to the team, we'll be sure to pass this on!
Offington Park is a lovely care home with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. All the staff seem to really enjoy working there and are wonderful and caring and go the extra mile to make residents feel special and at home; personalising their care to suit the individual. It’s efficiently run and nothing is too much trouble. The food is great and the rooms are bright and airy. It’s also nice to have the option of sitting in the conservatory and the lovely gardens when visiting. My mum has advanced Alzheimer’s and had never been away from my Dad, so we were worried about how she’d take to living somewhere without him. When we dropped her off on her first day, back in November, she felt so at home by the time we left, that she was dancing down the hallway with one of the carers; so I think that said it all and we left feeling very relieved and couldn’t be more grateful to know that she is being well looked after. I highly recommend this lovely home.
My Mother moved into Offington Park late last year. I cannot believe how happy she is now. The staff are fantastic and supportive. She rings me every day and always comments about how wonderful the food is. My family and I are delighted to have found such a wonderful place for my Mum to live.
Thank you for your kind words - they are very much appreciated by the team.
The staff go out of their way to make the residents feel happy and settled and I am so thankful to have found Offington Park Care Home.
My mum was in need of respite after an operation on her legs. After initially booking 2 weeks she was able to increase her time to one month. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and caring especially the first day when I was rather panicked after what initially was meant to be an op on one leg turned into both legs. My mother was unable to walk but the staff made the whole experience so calm and easy and were organised for our arrival with a wheelchair and help to get her from the car into the home with tea and biscuits at the ready. The manager sorted out the community nurse to visit, it couldn’t have been made easier at a stressful and worrying time. My mum loved her room, the food and care that she received all making it possible for her to recover quickly and return home able to cope.
This was my first experience in a care home and the management and hardworking staff did everything possible to hasten my recovery from operations on my legs. I was very impressed with the way the staff integrated with the residents and encouraged everyone to join in the activities. The choice of food was good and excellent home cooking - what more could I as for?
Many thanks. I can only comment on the aspects I saw that evening.
Would never contemplate my mum being anywhere else. This care home and the staff an the way it is managed and run is brilliant.
Excellent run care home with all staff including domestic, cook, carers and management always working with a smile on their face polite and nothing too much trouble. All approachable and any concerns are dealt with immediately and followed if necessary. The staff are friendly caring and respectful to their residents. My mother always tells me that I could not have chosen a nicer home, she says the staff are always cheerful, friendly and caring there is lots of laughter and kindness.
I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at Offington Park. My grandmother was treated extremely well - she was treated with respect and a huge level of kindness. She was encouraged to participate in the activities of the house, but this was done with compassion and thoughtfulness.
Her stay there was wonderful from start to finish - the place is excellently maintained and clean, and the residents are looked after like family. She thought she was at home - and it felt like it too.
It is never easy to lose a loved one, but Offington Park is a credit to the care profession.
The home has been an excellent choice when we had to find Mum a care home as I know Mum is safe and being well looked after on all levels.
The care home is a modern, clean and quiet place that has plenty of space. The staff are calm, collect and friendly. The whole home feels like a warm and friendly place to stay. It is clear that the quality of care is very high and my Grandmother seems happy to live here. Having seen a wide range of care home I am pleased she has a place here.
I genuinely do not feel that more could have been done in terms of friendly care, cheerfulness and attention to her needs. She was very happy - and that started from the first day. The whole team were relaxed, professional but above all treated her with respect and dignity which gave us great peace of mind. On visits to see her, nothing was too much trouble and we all felt that we could not have chosen anywhere that Mum would have been happier.
The home is run in a friendly and caring way. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our aunt is well cared for, even though dementia has robbed her of all communicating skills, she is the very best place for her to live comfortably.
Offington Park care home is more like a home from home. We have delicious and nutritious food, all home cooked. The staff are extremely kind and totally professional. I consider myself very lucky to be a resident here.
I am very happy here, I receive good care and staff are always attentive. The food here is very good.
The care my mother received during the last 2 weeks of her life was wonderful. All the staff showed compassion and allowed my mother her dignity to the very end. They were angels. Thank you.
Nothing is too much trouble for the lovely staff here.

Meet the Team (1)

I'm Sandy, and I’m thrilled to have recently taken on the role of Manager at Offington. This is an exciting new chapter in my 24-year career in care. I began as a Care Assistant and have worked hard over the years to learn best practices, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care and that our staff feel supported and valued. My commitment to care comes from a deeply personal place—I believe in treating every resident with the same level of care and compassion that I would want for my own family members. Outside of work, I enjoy attending car shows and have a real passion for all things Disney! I am looking forward to leading Offington Park into its new chapter, and I can't wait to invite you all to our next community event.
