Overall Experience

My mother moved into Auburn Lodge in July 2023 as a full time resident. At first, I was apprehensive but i soon realised that this family-run home treated all residents as part of a big family. They fully meet all mum's needs, physically mentally and emotionally. They provide one to one care day and night and nothing is too much trouble. If mum gets upset they sit with her until she is settled, this includes all the carers and the owners. During the day they provide unlimited high-quality food and even cook Mum whatever she wants that is off the menu. Mum has a choice of activities to choose from throughout the day or she can sit in a comfortable spacious room with TV and can call a carer any time. The staff go in and out of her room to check on Mum and to chat and have a laugh re enforcing that this is Mum's home and she is a valued member of a large family. I feel that the care given by Auburn Lodge saved my mums life, she is happy, well fed and well-loved.
