We are very happy with the service and kind attention the staff and management are giving my elderly father. Westdene House is a relaxing and calm environment, and there is a genuine friendly and happy family feeling there. Big thanks to the Westdene team.

We have always found the home manager and staff to be extremely helpful and to go that extra mile and the home is in a nice location.

My husband has spent many weeks in respite care, once a few years, in Westdene House. My husband is very well liked by all the staff - he gives no trouble whatsoever.

I recommend Westdene House to all my friends. It is a very friendly "home" and my husband has always been welcomed.

Westdene residential care home in Worthing have given careful thought about how to care for my mother. They have encouraged her to become part of the care home family and as a result, my mother's emotional needs have been better served and she has become reasonably happy.

I have visited this venue numerous times over the past year and a half, I have always found the staff friendly and helpful. The management are very approachable and often sitting chatting to residents in the lounge. From day one, I was made to feel at home. I know this is the companies ethos "home from home" they do manage this without trying. I have also been to many parties within the home, everyone is made to feel welcome and part of the "family" the staff are friendly offering tea or coffee upon arrival.

I was visiting my father in the afternoon and the staff at Westdene were holding a "party" for the residents. The residents had a lovely buffet spread with music and games. The staff adapted the dancing for all the residents so even the people who could not walk was able to join in. I was made to feel welcome and joined in with the dance and games. When I asked what the party was in aid of the staff said "one of the residents fancied a party".

The managers were so helpful and proactive in difficult and distressing situations with my mother. They responded professionally to ensure her physical health problems were attended to. They addressed and managed safeguarding issues with openness and professionalism. As a nurse of 16 yrs and a compliance specialist, I cannot fault them and would recommend the home to anyone where loved ones need care.

Arrived here about June 2014 and Aspire Life Care took over about two years ago. I like the care home, it is clean, warm and does not smell. The carers are nice and chat to me. The owners are here quite a lot and chat with me. Their care for me is very good as I am not as mobile as I used to be. Food is generally tasty and more thank I can eat. I am very happy here but could do with some more organised activities.

This home is friendly, comfortable and resident-focused. It is small enough for a very personal approach and large enough to offer a good range of level of support. My brother has settled in following a lengthy stay in hospital. The home deals with a range of care needs and ages.

Today was my first visit to Westdene. The welcome at the front door was warm and inviting and this was reflected throughout the home. The staff I met were very friendly and all knew my mother in law in detail and could help and advise in response of the various questions we raised.

New dining room furniture and new lounge furniture and the colourful garden all help to create a pleasant atmosphere. However it is the staff who will make the home a happy home and the staff I have met will certainly be capable of doing that.

Mum was extremely happy at Westdene. It is situated in a lovely position, very convenient for strolling along the seafront in her wheelchair or watching bowls from the cafe in the park nearby. All the staff have a happy and caring attitude towards the residents, nothing is too much trouble. Mum enjoyed the food and her room was clean and comfortable.
