The staff and management have shown real care and compassion towards my dad. I will always recommend Woodbine Manor to anyone looking for care. My dad looks better now since being at Woodbine than he has in a long time. Even with his advanced dementia he often tells me he loves the staff as they are kind and how he loves the food.

Very caring and professional with a friendly atmosphere. Residents seem calm and happy in their surroundings. Home is clean and hygienic with no nasty odours. Staff ready to discuss any problems that may occur. Have heard about abusive and non-caring homes, but I have absolutely no concerns about Woodbine. Well managed and run by dedicated people.

Omg, amazing! Thought dementia patients were supposed to get gradually worse but my mum has improved since being here! Joining in activities, talking and eating better, can not praise highly enough - would give more stars if I could - thank you for giving us a little more time with our mum.

It seems to have an exceptionally strong and competent management team, which is very reassuring.
Food is better than many restaurants I've visited.

Mum isn't the easiest person but the staff at Woodbine Manor combine compassion, care, humour and professionalism to not only achieve the highest standards of care but make Mum feel happy. She is genuinely happy, which is a huge relief. She loves the staff, the place, the activities, the food, having company and many cups of tea. I had to wait to get Mum in Woodbine Manor but it is so worth it. I can't recommend Woodbine Manor enough.

My husband came into Woodbine Manor as an emergency and I cannot praise or thank the staff enough; he has settled well and everyone has helped him settle and re-adjust to his new environment and his confidence is returning. Woodbine Manor is friendly and staff helpful from the moment they open the door. Staff and management are always happy to listen to your concerns and comments. There are activities to suit all. The food is like home cooked and old-fashioned balanced diet. They look after both residents and their families.

Woodbine was not mum's first care home but it was by far the best and cheaper than the previous one.
Mum was safe there, she had a history of wandering off leading to great concern for the whole family.
Mum and her family were treated with the utmost compassion and respect by all the staff.
It was a proper home within a safe environment.

We were kept up to date with mum's health and condition at all times.

Woodbine Manor, caring, personal, flexible, feels like a family home. I visited every day in June to see my mother. Staff always friendly, always clean, the residents are all 'at home' they seem very happy, I got to know them all. I can return to Australia knowing, truly in my heart my mother is in the very best place possible for advanced dementia.

The senior staff have been especially helpful linking our family in Australia with Mum on FaceTime. I feel relieved, mum is so fortunate to be cared for at Woodbine Manor.

Honestly speaking, with my experience with other care homes, Woodbine Manor Care Home is the best home I have visited. I will say I am very pleased to have been here. The staff are very friendly, lovely and social. Woodbine Manor is more of a home than a care home. The cleanliness, environment and food are very excellent in all aspects. In fact, I will say Woodbine Manor Care is a first class care home.
