Cannot praise the home enough. They go above and beyond in all areas. So grateful to them and the way they treat my Dad.
I find this home gives excellent care, a friendly atmosphere, it's a pleasure to visit residents there and I would definitely recommend this home to anyone.
It is one of the hardest decisions anyone can make to put a loved one into a care home. The guilt can be life-changing but seeing how well looked after Mum is has made this whole experience bearable. Everyone in Glennfield loves and cares for her like they would their own. When I visit I see how safe Mum is and how her individual needs are catered for in every possible way. Because of everyone there working so hard I get to still have some semblance of a life. It would be impossible without them all. I may have lost a lot of my mum to dementia but I have gained the kindest and most supportive version of a family I could have hoped for. I really couldn’t recommend Glennfield more, it creates shining stars in a very dark place.
While there seems to be nobody 'just doing their job', because this is clearly not accepted as enough, there are some people working there who remind me of Florence Nightingale in their loving dedication to the real welfare of the residents. It is difficult to express sufficiently in words our gratitude to these people for looking after my ailing mother so well.
My husband was a resident of Glenfield Care for over seven years. This was his home and he was almost always treated with respect and kindness, dignity and humour; despite his many requirements and independent nature! The whole family was made to feel welcome always.
Thank you for all you did until the end.
Every week I visit my brother and am always surprised at the love and positivity of the caring staff towards the residents foremost, but also towards their sometimes fragile visitors. It makes, what could be a challenging time, a more enjoyable time. Thank you to all.
He is comfortable, well cared for and I believe he is loved by many of the wonderful staff.
I would also like to mention that the carers are sensitive to my needs, often offering hugs when I leave my son.
My brother has been a resident for approximately three and a half years. The management team, carers, care assistants and nurses have been very professional, friendly and most of all caring to my brother, as well as supportive to our family. He settled in very well and it has been his home ever since. Thank you to all concerned.
