My father moved into the care home in February 2025 since then he has had a few falls as he wanders at night time and forgets to take his inhaler. But the care he gets has been excellent and if anything happens to him they are straight on the phone and inform me. The home and staff are always very helpful.

Sadly after being at Primrose Croft Care Home for three years, my father passed away in December 24.
Initially my father was not keen on being in the care home, but it was not long before he became very settled and very much at home which was primarily down to the excellent/outstanding friendly and caring staff.

Thank you Primrose Croft for taking care of my father and keep up the good work.

My mother has been in Primrose Croft for several years now, from day one all staff have been very friendly towards Mum and all of the family visiting Mum. Activities are very frequent and they all seem to enjoy the interaction with others and staff. I know most of the staff by name and I would not have a bad word said to any of them, they are all fantastic. Only one critique, clothing has gone missing on more than one occasion.

In general the care home is very good.
We have recently noticed that our mother's clothes have gone missing the clothes we brought at Christmas. New blue coat she has never worn has gone. All her clothes have her name or initials in them.
Communication is really good, and staff members lovely.

Need more staff though as at times, staff seem very sparse.

My father has been in Primrose Croft since July 2023. They do everything they can to enable him to maintain independence whilst also ensuring he is safe and healthy. He is not always the easiest person to please but all the staff are kind, patient and good-humoured. They are happy for family and friends to visit anytime (within reason!), so what you see is what you get. When there have been any issues or concerns, I have been informed immediately, and on the one occasion I was worried about something, they were open to feedback and very quick to address... you couldn't ask for more.

Been there three years now, with her dementia, she is still confused about where she is and wants to go and live with her Mum. l am always kept informed about any incidents that occur, no matter how minor which gives me peace of mind to know that she is well looked after. Deep down she really enjoys it there as she has company and likes the banter with the staff. If l have any questions there is always a member of staff available to speak to.
