My father is so happy at Brooke House and his health has improved 100% since he arrived just before Christmas 2017. He loves the staff who are wonderful. The care is excellent and the staff so caring and professional.

I can't recommend enough. His room is comfortable and the food good. My father loves his bed which is important to him and he can watch the birds in the fantastic gardens.

Overall Experience

Mum has been a resident at Brooke House since July 2017 and seems to have settled in very well. I feel this is due to the kindness, care and good insight in the first instance by the Manager and duty Manager who accommodated mum's needs in placing her in the right environment. The transition period went very smoothly and the manager re-assured me the whole time, which was an enormous help to me. I am so pleased to see that mum is very well cared for by all the staff. The home is a peaceful place situated in beautiful surroundings with peaceful rural views. We as a family are very glad to have found this home.

What a lovely friendly place Brooke House is, I was made so welcome and my Aunt was so happy, baking cakes and chatting with other residents and staff - it gave me great piece of mind to know she was being looked after by staff that really cared. Every time I visit the place is so clean and fresh, and my Aunt is always presentable and tidy, this is priceless!

I could not recommend you enough to anyone looking for a warm friendly and caring environment for a family member - many thanks to you all :)

Overall I'm satisfied with the care my grandparents receive if there has been a problem it's always been dealt with in a professional manner.
Now we have new management the care home is so much more organised and friendly.

If you have a problem the management staff are much more approachable.

Overall Experience

We wish to say that since my sister has been in your care, for the past eight months the care home has been excellent. The staff have been extremely helpful and friendly. It is nice that the manageress hs now got a dog there on a regular basis to help the resident. Every time we come to see her we are always made to feel welcome. The only downfall is although her clothes are labelled she is still getting other peoples and shoes, which we have to sort out when we go, apart from that there are no complaints. Keep up the good work as it is a brilliant home.

My sister is treated with love and kindness by all the staff and her best interests are considered at all times. Staff are approachable and will always try to answer any questions. The home also has a good relationship with my sister's GP who will be asked to call if there are any problems.

Review from Margaret S (Uncle of Resident) published on 12 January 2017 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

My 90-year-old Uncle with Alzheimer's has been treated with kindness and dignity throughout his stay. The team have managed his dementia without any problem and have given him the tender loving care he needs. As an ex-nurse who expects the best care, I am delighted to say my Uncle has been given just that. The manager is exceptional as are most of her young team. Thank you.

My Mother has been at this home for a year now, and her mental and physical conditions have both improved from when she entered the home in a confused state following 3 infections.
All the staff is kind and caring and every effort is made to interest Mother in activities.
She also has her hair done and nails varnished from time to time.

There is a choice of meals.
