Rooms looked out onto the garden which was lovely, all the staff were polite and pleasant. Would definitely recommend St Mary’s to my family and friends. She always tells me the food is nice and there always seems to be available snacks and drinks.

My dad enjoyed it at St Mary’s Care Home. All the staff were very kind and helpful, making his stay for 11 months the best they could. He made many friends and was grateful for how the careers looked after him, and enjoyed the activities that they did. I cannot fault the staff, they were all very good
and kind and always made visitors very welcome. A lovely care home.

Visited my friend, who seems very happy here, she gets nice snacks and drinks, and she says the food is really good. She is pleased with the new activities lady who has put in new things like a toddler group and my friend's favourite, a walking group.
The staff were all lovely when I visited.

My mum was at St Mary's for just over one year. All the staff were very friendly and caring. The home was always relaxed and calm. My mum enjoyed the activities she did, and I couldn't have wished for a better place for my mum. I would recommend this home to anyone.

Having visited a friend twice in recent months, I have found much to comment St Mary's Care Home. I have been welcomed by the staff, who knew exactly where my friend could be found and directed me accordingly. They were friendly and approachable, yet professional. The home has no smells of urine (which
I have found in other homes) and is bright and spotlessly clean. My friend's room overlooks the garden with a big window seeing her plants and is comfortable. In fact, it is just like "home", and my friend is happy and well cared for. Call bells are answered immediately, and staff are very much in evidence of caring and assisting residents. Love that the windows in her room care be opened, but have a safety device preventing anyone from getting in or out!

My partner's grandad was at St Mary's for respite, and we cannot fault them. All the staff were so kind, caring and professional; the whole home was clean and felt homely, unlike some other care homes. The care he received was amazing, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a home for

My husband was very well looked after during his two-week stay at St Mary's Care Home. All the staff were very kind and caring, and the food was very good. I do not know what the activities were like, as he did not wish to participate in any. I cannot fault the home.

Mum likes the home and says it's friendly and the staff are caring. It's warm and clean and easy to settle in. She is always clean, as are her clothes. When I visit, the home is clean and odourless, and the staff are helpful and polite. The manager is approachable and cheerful and always has a kind

All staff are so hardworking and caring. I am particularly pleased with how the residents are taken to the lounge and entertained when available and not just left in their rooms all day.

The home organised a Jubilee celebration, they created a relaxed yet fun environment with plenty of food and drink. The staff went over and above in their efforts to ensure everyone had a good time. It was a very special afternoon that I will remember fondly.

My mother stayed in St Marys for 6-weeks following discharge from the hospital. The staff were all amazing and helped her settle in when she arrived very disorientated. The standard of care was excellent throughout, and they supported not only Mum but also me when it got difficult when she was confused.
Mum says the food is very good too! The management team were very good too and made things as easy as possible for the family. Thank you so much!

My elderly mother entered the care home in August, bed-bound, extremely confused after a prolonged stay in the hospital and with a very poor prognosis. I was looking for a home that have her loving care, not a hotel, despite the situation. I can not praise the staff and management enough - my mother
has somewhat returned to us, still, bed/chair bound, but strong and more so happy. Well done, St Mary's.

I worked in the care sector for 13 years before I joined the St. Mary's Care Home team in 2024. I have previous experience in dementia and residential care, LD and mental health. I am passionate about making a difference in people's lives and building strong relationships with residents, their families and my team. St.


Mary's Care Home is a beautiful place with a great potential to become outstanding and has a homely atmosphere which our residents, staff and visitors enjoy. I am proud of my team who genuinely care about our residents' health & wellbeing and every day go above and beyond to make their lives happier and a little bit brighter. I lived in Norwich for 15 years and enjoyed every minute of it. I love travelling, spending time with family and friends and generally keeping myself occupied.

I have worked in Care for around 10 years. I previously worked as a Deputy working with adults with physical and learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries and mental health conditions. One of my passions is Mental Health and Well-Being. I went to university in Cambridge where I received my degree in Abnormal and Clinical Psychology. I am Level 5 qualified and a Mental Health First Aider. I hope to do a Masters Degree in one of these fields. Outside of work I try and spend time with my friends as often as I can and enjoy attending as many concerts as I can.
I have always wanted to work in a setting where I am able to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Since starting Kingsley everyone has been very welcoming. We have a great team here who put the lives of the residents at the forefront of everything they do. I am very excited for my future with Kinglsey and where it will take me.

I have worked in administration and office management for many years. Although I had worked across the NHS and the private care sector, I had taken a break from this professional area of work. Joining St Mary's has just been amazing. It's a great feeling being central at reception in seeing staff, residents and family. No one day is the same. We have an amazing team supporting all of our residents. Outside of work my family our my focus.

Lauren Nield-Keeley

Job Title: Activities & Lifestyle Co-ordinator

I worked in the Holiday Park industry for 20 years, covering roles such as show team singer to Entertainments Manager, before moving over to Events Co-ordinator for those who owned their own holiday homes. After first-hand experience of finding care for a family member, I decided I would like to be a part of the care home sector to try and enrich the day-to-day lives of residents who live there, and so in January 2025, I joined the team at St Mary's Care Home. I enjoy providing a variety of activities that encourage and assist our residents to socialise and keep their independence through joining in. I enjoy spending time with the residents and getting to know them and their families. The atmosphere at St Mary's is a lovely balance of friendship and care between everyone who lives, works and visits our home.


Outside of wor,k I enjoy spending time with my family, my dog Molly and travelling.
