The Laurels is a very welcoming environment and feels just like I expect it would to visit my nephew in his own home. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable and know my nephew extremely well.
I visited my friend, in the home. I found all the staff to be polite friendly warm and welcoming, each staff member knew my friend. They showed kindness and compassion. The home has a complete personal-centred approach. I would highly recommend.
They have a very friendly staff who looked after our family friend. Nothing was too much trouble. The room is always kept nice, clean and homely. The meals are varied and superb. Lots of activities to take part in. No one needs to feel lonely. We were able to visit at any time.
I find the management and staff extremely dedicated and supportive, often under very challenging situations, Staff are always friendly, helpful and welcoming,
After six years in the Laurels, we are very happy with all aspects of our daughter's care. The Laurels has always been home from home for us and even through the lockdown, the staff worked hard to keep our family safe and in contact with us via facetime etc. Good to be back with the family.
Really no complaints about the home or the carers who work there; great team.
I visited my friend, a resident at The Laurels. The staff were very friendly and even gave me a lift home. Thank you.
The services were 100%, and the cleanliness of the home was 100%.
The manager was very friendly, professional and left me feeling reassured that my friend was receiving the best possible care.
Fantastic place - keep up the excellent work.
I am a very fussy Mum and wanted somewhere for him that paid attention to detail, a clean and well cared for home environment, a lovely atmosphere amongst staff, lots of activities for my son, medical expertise to care for his needs and most importantly somewhere he could thrive and be happy.
I found all of this and more at The Laurels, and has settled remarkably well and loves his new home already.
My son developed medical problems in September, which were beyond medical help, and he needed end of life care. The staff at The Laurels asked to provide this. The next 3 weeks were very hard, but the love and care provided by everybody, not only for my son but for me as well, was above and beyond anything I could have dreamt of. The attention to detail, his comfort and welfare and dignity were beyond approach. Even his care after he passed, before the undertaker, was so compassionate. His time at The Laurels was the best I could have wished for.
Lovely staff 100% loyalty to residents.
Lovely manager.
Always good to talk to.
As a parent of a resident, I know that my daughter is very happy at The Laurels. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it's a great home with a good atmosphere and good facilities.
I have every confidence that my son is getting the best of care possible.
On visiting a resident that had asked me to pop in when I saw her shopping, I had a warm greeting by staff and was offered refreshment. felt friendly and homely!
