The Laurels is a very welcoming environment and feels just like I expect it would to visit my nephew in his own home. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable and know my nephew extremely well.
My daughter is a resident at this care home, she has autism and global learning delay. The care and support she recieves is very good, the staff and residents all have a very good relationship, the support she gets is very good and all her needs are more then catered for.I have very good contact with my daughter and the staff keep me informed of any and all things relating to her and her care.I would highly recomend this care home and Kingsley as a care provider.
Thank you for your kind words! we appreciate your comments and value your opinion.
A lovely setting with lots of space around. The staff are all extremely friendly and there is always a good atmosphere around. We celebrated our son's birthday and Glebe Farm had made a fantastic effort with decorations, banners, balloons and made us very welcome.
Wisteria House is an incredibly warm, inviting and homely place to visit. The are shown and treated with care and respect from staff. Meals are a good social time for the residents and the food being cooked always smells delicious.
I visited my friend, in the home. I found all the staff to be polite friendly warm and welcoming, each staff member knew my friend. They showed kindness and compassion. The home has a complete personal-centred approach. I would highly recommend.
My son is a resident at Cypress House. He has complex medical needs and learning difficulties. From our initial visit, through the whole transition process, to moving in, the experience has been nothing but positive. The staff are so supportive and welcoming, the care and attention to detail is outstanding and my son has settled into his new home extremely quickly. The staff are enthusiastic, energetic and keep my son active, happy and safe. The home has a lovely, warm atmosphere, lovely modern furnishings and a huge rear garden. Would highly recommend!
Thank you so much! Our staff will always do our best it's a pleasure to be able to care for him.
They have a very friendly staff who looked after our family friend. Nothing was too much trouble. The room is always kept nice, clean and homely. The meals are varied and superb. Lots of activities to take part in. No one needs to feel lonely. We were able to visit at any time.
I'm pleased with how it's run. I know my son is happy living there. I can visit when I like and I can have my views heard. I'm kept up to date on things relating to him. My son is hard to manage and I know staff do the best they can to look after him and support him with his day-to-day living.
My son has just returned from an amazing two day holiday in a lodge in Thetford Forest. He has not stayed away for over six years and we were expecting a few bumps in the road. I can honestly say there were none. Review: communication, planning, venue, safety, accommodation. Forgot marmite and bought wrong bread!
My impression is of a professional and caring team who made my sister's move and settlement very easy. The staff have been great in keeping us informed. The activities and engagement with residents are so impressive. My sister is very safe and well cared for in this environment and I am so pleased we discovered Wisteria House.
I find the management and staff extremely dedicated and supportive, often under very challenging situations, Staff are always friendly, helpful and welcoming,
After six years in the Laurels, we are very happy with all aspects of our daughter's care. The Laurels has always been home from home for us and even through the lockdown, the staff worked hard to keep our family safe and in contact with us via facetime etc. Good to be back with the family.
Overall an excellent service.
My son is supported by Linfield home. The manager is wonderful and contacts me and keeps me updated when necessary. My son's care is great and the home has been constantly trying to get my son's equipment and room servicing with outside services.
These last 18 months have not been easy for anybody. I'm sure the residents must have wondered what was going on. I have to say that all staff have done a fantastic job in keeping everyone safe and happy. I have nothing but praise and thanks for them.
Our son moved into Glebe Farm in November 2020 in the middle of the pandemic which made the separation even more traumatic for us all. The managers and staff were considerate and supportive from the start. Our son soon settled to various garden and maintenance projects, immediately seeing himself indispensable to the staff! His complex epilepsy is well managed and monitored. In fact, any incidents and occurrences have continually been dealt with sensitively. We are kept well informed and are welcome to call or visit at any time, which is extremely reassuring. Since the lifting of restrictions, our son has been able to resume his local voluntary community work, which he loves and is supported to continue. Our relationship with his support staff has always reassured us that they have his best interest at heart and that they listen to him. His transition from home into supported living has been more successful than we ever could have anticipated.
A really wonderful place for residents. The site is beautiful and really calming. The farm is a wonderful idea for the residents and encourages them to get involved. Perhaps there will be some additions of new animals?
Well done Glebe for providing a much-improved service and care.
My son is happy, he loves his own space, which he arranges as he wants, and he is treated with care and dignity as a normal adult. The staff are confident to have a laugh and a joke with him, which he very much enjoys. His medical needs are well monitored and reviewed as necessary. The managers and staff at the home have been very creative in keeping as stimulating an environment as possible throughout the challenging period of lockdown. They have provided activities within the home, where there are good-sized grounds and animals on-site to look after, and communal activities such as barbeques to enjoy as a group of young adults.
Myself and my partner had a visit to Glebe Farm to look around to see if it would be suitable for my son to live. We were amazed at how lovely the house was. My son has now been living there for just over 3 weeks. He loves the staff and they are doing a fantastic job. I'm so relieved. I couldn't ask for a better place. I ring every day to see how he's doing and there's always a member of the nursing team take my call. Superb communication and they cover everything. I'm so happy that my son is happy, and having good days. Yes, there's going to be good days and bad, like there is for us all... but the staff at Glebe Farm have managed these days. I must say I'm grateful for this. I appreciate all your help and hard work. Outstanding! You all interact and give him plenty of attention 24/7. You all deserve a medal.
