My son has just returned from an amazing two day holiday in a lodge in Thetford Forest. He has not stayed away for over six years and we were expecting a few bumps in the road. I can honestly say there were none. Review: communication, planning, venue, safety, accommodation. Forgot marmite and bought
wrong bread!

I have been really impressed with this facility and particularly the staff who work hard to promote the dignity and independence of the clients, and take a genuine interest in them and their well-being. The atmosphere is relaxed which is entirely in keeping with young clients and the staff have great
relationships with the clients whilst still enforcing appropriate behaviour standards and boundaries.

It is a massive vote of confidence to see my son happy, engaged and living life to his full potential at Decoy Farm on our fortnightly visits! I do not have to worry about his support, the communication by the manager is second to none. All the staff looking after my son are polite welcoming and totally
engaged with my sons day to day life and his total wellbeing. When he has been unwell recently the support and empathy shown to get him through this has been above and beyond. In the care of our son everything is above and beyond.

My nephew has been resident at Decoy for a year and a half now, I can honestly say that the time has proven to be the best placement experience for him.
He has received such care and kindness there he is much happier than he had been for a number of years.
The staff are all willing to chat and to
listen, communication is so important to me as I am too far away to visit often, when I do visit it feels very homely and relaxed. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, I feel like part of the “family”.
My nephew is encouraged to be active in all sorts of settings in and out of the home environment. Holidays and visits to numerous attractions and events and family occasions included.
I can only give praise and thanks to the team at Decoy and hope that they continue to do as they do for all their residents, relatives and friends. Thank you all.

All the staff are extremely polite, helpful, and willing to talk at any time. They will do anything that is necessary for my son and will go over and above to care for him.

Lovely setting, mature grounds, friendly support workers.
Rooms and living areas are clean, tidy and of a good standard.
There is always a nurse on duty, which is good, maybe needs a couple more male carers, to get more of a balance if possible.
Relaxed atmosphere.
Carers need a little more
supervision on personal things, like teeth cleaning, which clients don't always remember.
On the whole excellent care and atmosphere.

My son has used the services of four care providers and Decoy Farm (Kingsley Healthcare) is, without a doubt, the best. My son has a collection of physical conditions, a learning disability and behavioural challenges.
Other care providers haven't been able to cope with him, whereas Decoy has maintained
him over a period of 8 years.
My son loves his carers and nursing staff, they, in return nurture and support him in a wonderful manner.
My son is happy and I feel welcomed and supported too.
Staff deal with his Coeliac disease and autism with confidence and compassion.
The establishment offers him more than other facilities.
