Becky has 30 years of experience working in residential care at White Gables. She has worked in a variety of roles, ultimately leading to the acquisition of NVQ level 5 in Health and Social Care and appointment as Home Manager. Becky empowers the team by communicating clearly and encouraging innovative practice. She has always taken a particular interest in palliative care and infection control. Becky works collaboratively with external agencies, and she leads the team with her experience, enthusiasm and vigour, has an open-door policy, thus ensuring holistic care for all our residents in a homely atmosphere.
Becky enjoys socialising and watching local bands, visiting her family overseas, and is an avid reader of books of all genres.
"Tash has worked at White Gables for 15 years in numerous roles. Before this, she worked for one year as a carer in a hospice. She holds NVQ level 5 in Health and Social Care, and as a team leader, she mentors any new staff member through their induction period and promotes and expects high standards of care. Tash is approachable and empathetic and oversees the training programmes for all staff. She has a particular interest in both persons living with dementia and palliative care and holds a Dementia care coach certificate.
Tash shares her love of all music with the residents (and staff) and enjoys all sports as well as spending time with her family in their camper van exploring the great outdoors.
Caroline joined White Gables straight from school and has worked in various care roles for the past 23 years. She holds NVQ level 5 in Health and Social Care and is committed to delivering person-centred care. Caroline organises and leads the team, ensuring there is a positive culture within the home. She is accountable, prioritises, has integrity and is passionate about maintaining and improving standards within the home. Caroline leads the NVQ programme, which she supports and encourages staff to complete, offering advice and mentorship.
Caroline spends her free time with her family and enjoys weekends away by the coast. She regularly enjoys ten-pin bowling with friends.
Dawn joined White Gables in 2025 as an Administrator. She has an extensive background in the care industry of over 30 years on and off, having worked in other settings in a variety of roles.
Dawn works alongside Dani in the admin office and is equally passionate about ensuring that all records are completely up to date, and is very supportive of her colleagues. She is very knowledgeable on lots of different aspects of the home and prides herself on being an excellent communicator.
Dawn enjoys spending time with her Family and friends and enjoys travelling around Europe, is a budding gardener and enjoys taking the family dog Ted for long walks.
Dani has worked for White Gables as an administrator for over 4 years. She holds a Level 3 Business & Administration, and before this, she was supporting organisations in a few different sectors, including education, charity and mental health.
Dani oversees the majority of paperwork within the home alongside Dawn Heeley, including staff, resident and financial records. She is passionate about GDPR and ensuring a smooth process from start to finish for all administrative processes. She also loves producing and completing spreadsheets!
Dani enjoys spending time with her young family, particularly doing arts and crafts and going on long walks with her children. She also enjoys reading books from all different genres.
Eddie has worked at White Gables for the past 19 years. Before this, he gleaned a wealth of practical experience in engineering, landscaping and laminating. Eddie is very ‘hands on’, and his priority is minimising risk by keeping the home safe for the residents and staff and operationally ensuring compliance with the legislative requirements. He has established very good working relationships with local businesses that help support the home to maintain safety.
Eddie loves most sports and engages with residents about football and especially cricket. He is a disgruntled Manchester United supporter!
Sally has worked at White Gables for 6 years, although she originally attained a National Diploma in Equine Management.
Sally organises and maintains cleanliness and safety in the home, ensuring a comfortable and healthy space for residents and staff. She leads her team by example and encourages them to engage and talk with the residents, considering it a privilege for her team to be able to assist residents when undertaking their duties. She is particularly empathetic towards residents living with dementia.
Sally volunteered at her local Church whilst being a ‘stay at home mum’ for several years, and she has run a toddler group for the past 20 years. She loves travelling, especially to Scotland, and does ultra running, her latest run being 47 miles around Lake Windermere.
Dawn has worked at White Gables in the catering department for over 4 years. She holds NVQ level 3 in professional catering and level 2 in food hygiene and safety. She is organised and methodical in her approach to her food preparation and reviews the menu regularly with residents. She has introduced a seasonal menu with their input and delights in trying ‘anything new’, gaining feedback afterwards. Dawn meets all new residents to discuss their meal preferences and discuss how best they may be accommodated. She particularly enjoys cake-making and providing buffets on special occasions.
Dawn often travels to London’s West End shows and shares her experiences with residents and staff alike. She is also often heard singing in the kitchen!
